I have a decent amount of armor and weapons, and am always looking for new and innovative ways to make use of them... so I thought, why not take suggestions? It'll certainly give me something to do-

So write down the armor, shield and weapons, as well as how I'm supposed to use it (or not if you'd rather not). I'll pick and use it, record it with fraps, and put it up on youtube. If I do not have a piece of gear, and I can get it quickly, I will... but this will probably take about a week or so. It would also be nice to specify if a similar piece of equipment would be alright for use. For instance, I have a snarbolax hat, but no dread skelly helmet... and they are very similar in nature. This is mostly for armor though.

I have 3 weapon slots, and I don't use or have trinkets, but I do have a good many status UVs on my gear, so if you just need immunity from say, ice whisps, I can pull that off.

Expect about one upload every other day or so, youtube takes forever to upload and kills my internet lol.

(Note- I am NOT responsible for any of the backchat that my guild provides for these videos... read into it at your own risk.. its kind of unavoidable for me, even with /clear, which I cannot use in the middle of fighting, so why bother?)

-cancel the WRH dash for a 3-hit combo
-do a gremlin level with VV only

Completed the vortex+sword challenge, difficulty through the roof... am uploading the video, will post a link soon.

And by cancel the WRH dash for a 3 hit combo, do you mean not to hit with the dash, only to hit with the dash, or something else?

EDIT: Demo'd switch shooting alchemers.

That I think it means: 1st

That I think it means: 1st hit, shield cancel, 1st hit and after, when you hit attack button, you skip the dash making last, 3rd hit of the combo. But why not use DA in that way if you don't want the dash at all...

I realise I can do this as well but I'm sure you're more experienced with Suda so I'll ask you to bring Electron Vortex and Suda. Place an Electron Vortex and stand in the middle of it (for best effect, don't move after placing it as you'll stand in the exact center of it) and charge and unleash your Suda. If enough mobs surround you, you either take heavy damage or execute the charge without moving.

I'd recommend Chaos for the CTR but Iunno what UVs you have so you might be able to use something better.

Got 2 more videos up! Not as impressive as the first, but I'll try qwote's thing later mayhaps.

Two things-
One of the videos might be "my edited video" for a while. This is because it refuses to let me change it's name. It might also just be unwatchable and marked private for a while. I'll try changing it later.
The videos take an hour or so to render after I edit them and put the link of them up. So if it gives you an error at youtube, just give it some time.

Oh my, that Magnus video was brilliant! I'd like to try it myself but I don't have any Magnus line gun... What I'm the most interested in is how this would do in Lockdown. I'm guessing the optimal setup would be full Justifier as Recon. Trinkets could be DI or Pentas. A piece of Justifier could go for something like BKC, I suppose.

Magnus switch shooting wouldn't be that effective at lockdown. The shoot would lock you in a place twice (probably more) longer than flourish swings. Hence, it would makes you easier target than other weapon users. Based on my experience, player who does magnus well usually, behind their teammates and only shoot once in a while, hide and make unpredictable movements.

Kill Lumber with DA charge followed by first swing? This move is easily overlooked but looks cool.

Question- do you guys think I should put music to the videos? Or keep them clean and official looking?

And I only have one winmillion, but I have been wanting to craft another.... so if I do a dual wielding winmillion video it'll be after I'm done affording everything else on my list of items I don't have lol. Maybe switch shoot winmillion and something else? Like a levi blade or a cutter?

Ultimate Glass Cannon: Chaos

Ultimate Glass Cannon: Chaos Set, (preferred no fire resistance UV), Swiftstrike shield, FOV (part of me wants to say only use the charge attack, but the sane part of me realizes that's close to impossible, so I'll just say you have to use the charge attack at least once. I wanna see how long that fire would be.)

If you don't have a chaos set (even though everyone and their grandmother has one right now), anything with a negative fire resistance will be fine.

I've ALWAYS wanted to see that, looking forward to it. =D

Reading this thread reminded me that I intended to craft twinmillions at one point, so I did.

Then I found that if you know how to switch shoot with one, it's not that much faster than switch shooting with two and it's still infinitely sustainable. ;n;

EDIT: Actually, I just tried this with a few other weapons and you can infinitely shield cancel with any sword's first swing and gun apparently...

Please do CIV-only (without Vortex or any other weapon) charge-only vs.:
Lizards (Chameleons),
Lumber(s),
Kats-if possible
Silkwing-if possible

^You need to get very close to the monster before releasing the charge. It will be like Little-Juances' Shivermist+Calibur charge but without Shivermist.

Gear: CIV,Chaos set,Swiftstrike (only CIV is important,Chaos just makes it faster).

I don't have a master blast bomb, but I do have a heavy deconstructor and a nitronome. So I can definitely use one of those to kill the jelly king. Preferably the nitronome, as I could use black kat cowl + bombastic demo suit + ironmight shield to support it... though if I went with decon, I could use chaos armor + black kat, so I'd still end up well off I guess. (nitronome has a ctr med UV for me; decon has a construct med UV)

I'm working on getting a darkfang shield, but the chances of finding it are phenomenally low... that being said, I do have a method that I personally think yields a decent chance at one. It is currently the only item that I see myself having trouble attaining for the foreseeable future. But then, battle sprites are a different story.

I've been hovering tabbing+briefly hovering hovering over them... but I guess I'll start going in whatever the armor looks like with no costume on.

To-morrow I'll have up the jelly king with sudaruska charges, and myself doing a graveyard wearing only ancient plate armor and triglav. Why a graveyard? Because I like to mix it up a bit, and fight whatever is there. The game would be awfully boring if I fought only devilites. Or only FSC for that matter.

No problem... got those other 2 up, Sudajelly and ancient+triglav. Don't have too much time on my hands, but I'll try to record some more later.

EDIT: Was going to vana, but quickly discovered the using cutters, the whole cutters and nothing but the cutters takes FOREVER because of how FSC relies on spamming lots of mobs and because of how cutters rely on you having some other form of crowd control. Your best bet is to strafe around slapping slags here and there because if you just go all out on any single entity, the slags will just go and eat your face. Or jump on you, because the developers were incapable of making the face eating work ROFL. So I'll have to ride some parties to vanaduke for that one.

Heavy Decon is ok then. Although I said "no damage bonuses", if you go with HDecon, you may bring a Mad Bomber piece or use a VDemo+Bombastic set, that way you will have CTR VH and Damage Med, so you can deal damage identical to Master Blast Bomb.

Whatever you use with HDecon, make sure you won't pass CTR +4 and Damage +2.

2 ideas

DVS/WHB only HoI: Do Heart of Ice using only the Dread Venom Striker and Wild Hunting Blade for weapons. Any armor and shield are allowed. You can choose to only show the Maulos battle if you wish.

Volcanic Pepperbox + Big Angry Bomb: Use the above combination + any armor/shield in a level of your choice.
