Where do you move after cloaking? lol.

I get the point of being unpredictable, not coming from the back and so. The thing is that when i land the first hit and shield cancel, i always get hit before i can even move!.

Any tips for it? Thanks :)

PS: Sorry for my HORRIBLE English im Spanish.

I don't know much about reconning, but if you're getting hit before you even move, moving after cloaking wouldn't make much of a difference, would it? ;) I think your problem there may be reaction time or weapon reach. If you're using a slow weapon or one with short reach, try switching to a Flourish or Barb line for uncloak-hit-recloak tactics. You get in and out a lot faster.

Try spamming the "x" button

It slows the reduction of cloaking and it also gives lag ! I'm not a recon typo knight as well but that is what i do when i'm bored or whateva :P

Timing/speed

If you're using swords, you'll need ASI if you want to get away. Sometimes, instead of:
[attack > shield + run away]

You'll need to just expect them to try to [shield] and then attack you while you're re-cloaking and trying to move, so you can do this instead:
[attack > shield (pause) > attack]

Also, Mounthagane's tip only works when your opponents have bad computers, so ignore that.

If you really are getting hit before you can move, then use a different weapon.

I walk in one direction..

as I walk there, I shield, then turn back, attack from the back, and pwn.

Since recon cloak gives you

Since recon cloak gives you attack speed decreased low, you will need to get ASI, as Seiran mentioned. The major problem that recons face is that some strikers follow their footsteps, making it much easier to detect recons (especially in Downtown, Frostbite or Avenue), so when u recognize that the enemy is following you, try to hit him before he does. At the end, it all depends on you :)
