It's great for escaping or routing an enemy. It also allows you to pass through Polaris Shots without getting damaged.

You can also Escape Strikers
You can also Escape Strikers and their angry Fausts.
Whenever you need to stall your enemy until you get your boost back. As recon and guardian, it can be used offensively.
