"Use item on ground" key

Because throwing away three vials to make empty slot is slow and not practical (especially in combat), my idea is to add key to trigger option for istant-use pickup item, what is under knight.

As much as this sounds like a good idea, we have enough buttons to keep track of as it is.

unnecessary and confusing. And illogical - how do we pick something up and use it if we can't carry any more anyway?

Exactly how I ready to throw

Exactly how I ready to throw something while picking up something else. Also, it could be not a key, but a prompt, like you get when you near a pot. Only you get it when near item with full belt

What situation is there when you would have to drop three items to use one on the ground? If the thing on the ground is more important than whatever you have, you probably were just too lazy to get rid of unneccessary things.

I've often found myself

I've often found myself wanting to activate a Mecha Knight Kit on the ground without having to drop my vials in the heat of battle, when I don't have the time to be messing with dragging stuff between slots. Mostly in Firestorm Citadel, but it does happen somewhat often enough for me to want this feature.

Let's face it, a Mecha Knight won't stand up to Vanaduke, but it will serve as an adequate distraction on the earlier floors. Therefore, it makes more sense to use the Mecha Knight Kit right away when one finds it, and save the vials for later. I've also had situations with low health, all slots full of vials, and a health capsule on the ground.

Instead of having to spend time (and valuable attention) on dragging vials out of slots, this proposed feature would speed up the process with a simple key press. There's no reason NOT to have it, in my opinion.

Start running away, dodging, all that, while dropping your vials. If you can't do that (I dodge all the time) while not hitting, then do you not need to improve ?

my 2 cents

That button would make a lot of fun go away in our guild sadly... we do fight for pills and remedy so if I could simply click 1 button to get it, it would ruin our fun...

the funny thing is when you "fake" chatting while you are actually covering a pill and nobody notice and you wait till they go away so you drop your 3 fire vials and get it (they are place holder as when you have 3 vials you won't have any chances of looting one in the wheel prize. It's all about maximizing vana profit ^ ^)

I usually take the fire, stun, shock or sleep one as no one usually use em... Plus it's fun to sleep a trojan or a slag and sit next to it :D

i like this idea, i suggest using the (E) key and remove strafe sense i never use it.

blandaxt, if you never use a key, it doesn't mean it's useless. gamepads are currently compelled to use the strafe button, and keyboard only users can make use of it.
