Pulsar change (why not make them pulse?)

Okay Polaris OP? Now that we agree on something lets get something done.

Why not make them pulse?

Rather then the current pulsar mechanics of small>big or how I call shrink>pulse they should pulse more than once. Lets start this overall nerf off right with a buff! Pulsar shots now go 10 tiles rather than 9. Now we get into the meat of it new pulsar shrunk shots deal no damage but still deal status and expanded act the same as they do now the big change is each shot goes two blocks big than small in a pattern of small>big>small>big>small or big>small>big>small>big. wait or? Yes pulsar users will have a random change of getting one of the two patterns.

Charge attack is unchanged.

Let's suppose an enemy is standing on a tile where the bullet would shrink. The expanded bullet could hit from the previous tile anyways, before the shrink occurs since it's too big and the borders overlap with the next tile.

Needs some testing, how fast will the pulse conversion be? How big are the bullets' hitboxes? How long is a tile?

How about it goes from small to big to small? So it's most effective at mid-range. Pulsar bullets would enlarge earlier, making the Pulsar more mid-range than sniping out enemies from afar.

the main feature of the pulsar line is crowd control. this change would make it an unreliable weapon. if you dont calculate distances well, you deal no damage, and anyway you have 2 patterns possible.
at this point, I would prefer it to pulse directly, i.e. releasing a wave of energy. 2-3* one and short range, 4-5* 2 with longer range. this would keep the crowd control reliable.
