I was on my way to join a Vanaduke party that currently had 3 knights in the lobby. But, just before I clicked "Join Party," I assume someone had beat me to the party a split second earlier than me. So, I ended up joining an Arcade party, which was not my intention to join. Quickly, I closed the window to try and stop the game from charging me of 10 energy, but sadly it did charge me. I know this is silly and I have to get over it, but...
- I would advise Three Rings to possibly NOT charge people of energy when entering a mission/arcade/prestige/etc. until it is 100% fully loaded.
- I believe it worked like this before but they probably patched it
If you close the game abruptly, the server will think you accidentaly disconnected, try to establish the connection again and again and even save you the spot you were supposed to take, blocking everyone else from joining that party.
You're causing more trouble than what you think you're fixing by panicking like that. You wasted 10ce but probably also annoyed the poor guys that were wating you for 10 long minutes. You could have dealt with it, load the level, apology and leave manually as to free party slot faster so someone that really wanted to help could join.
