This just happened tonight but I can hardly play spiral knights due to this issue, I log in, guildie says hi, I say hi back but doesn't show in chat but public chat shows, I go to haven to see the AH, start an FSC run, get disconnected, reconnect, puts me back in Haven, start FSC again, disconnected, can't log in for another 30 minutes.
This has not happened before and I have reinstalled spiral knights and that has only fixed about 4% of the problem
When I tried to log in I have to wait 30 seconds just to get to the ready room, once again, this has not happened before. All in all I have restarted steam about 10 times and reinstalled spiral knights about twice and that still hasn't fixed the problem, this is a very peculiar problem SK is giving me. Any solutions? Please post cause I would like to get playing right now.
I have this every so often, this is a result of a slow connection to the point where the game thinks you have disconnected. What is your ISP and your Download/Upload rate? Ping? What is your maximum bitrate? If you have a low-bitrate, this will instantly cause lag in-game and is your ISP and not Spiral Knights itself.
Your only suggestion is to first check what your bitrate is. If it's high, make sure you're not download/uploading anything as this will instantly eat at your connection. Another thing that could be causing it is your location and what server you're using: Are you using the EU or US one?
The only real "fix" is to get a better ISP if you're within the US or EU.
