Greetings potential guild recruiters! I have a friend who is in need of a guild, I am advertising on his behalf because he probably didn't think of posting on the forums.
What you should know about him:
1) He's a gunslinger, uses only one sword, might go for for the WRHammer and Nitronome, though.
2) Does not have plans to do LD/BN yet.
3) Is a vanguard, does not do a whole lot of prestige, but doesn't mind doing it. He hasn't mastered them to where he can solo them.
(a) Can't solo an SL yet, perhaps he could do UGWW.
(b) He can carry 3 noobs at vana.
(c) Isn't a pain to take in a mission.
(d) Not necessarily a god. He still will save up on pills, remedies, etc, and ask others if they have enough.
(e) He wears questionable gear at certain places. If that bothers you, then don't invite him. Enlighten him, but he's mostly got whatever fits his needs down.
4) Has no idea how to merch, hasn't taken a look into the auction house for that yet.
5) He doesn't beg. There may be cases where he would borrow cr (e.g. a clockworks run where he doesn't have enough for a recipe that basil happened to have which he would have otherwise been prepared for), but it's very unlikely.
6) Mature yet easy going. He's not a kid.
7) He (obviously) does not frequent the forums.
8) He started the game (not directly) after missions were released, so there may be some concepts about fighting which he may not know about. E.g. he still thinks that higher dmg beats a slow and safe kill. (Which isn't a huge problem.) He might not know acronyms such as AoA, CoA, GoS, etc.
9) I can't help but make him sound like a snob, but if you're one of those snobby guilds in terms of worrying about prestige (not the points) and silly things like that, then he's probably not fit for your guild. He's not a reputation wrecker, however.
10) He left his previous guild on good terms, was a member for six months.
11) Be clear on how your promotion system works.
** If you have any questions or are interested, please send me a MAIL in game or leave a reply below and me and my friends will get back to you. **
Thank you!
Weapons, Armor, and Helms off the top of my head:
Sword:
- Wimillion (its fast and it shoots bullets on normal swings)
Guns:
-Umbra, Nova, and Storm Driver. He might have a firotech as well.
- Volcanic Pepperbox (tears up Royal Jelly)
- Blitz Needle
- Sentenza
-- Working on:
- Valiance
- Supernova
- Perhaps a catalyzer
Shield:
- Working on Great Owlite
- Crest of Almire
- Dragon Scale Shield
Defense:
- Arcane Salamander Set
- Shadowsun Set
- Dragon Scale Helm
- Ice Queen Crown (or whatever it's called)
Be sure to let us know if anything I've mentioned about him above would make him un-recruitable.
Greetings! I'd love to get to know your friend (what is his IGN?) and potentially invite him to my guild, Shapeless.
One question/statement
Does he not come on to the SK forums because he doesn't know about them or doesn't like them? I ask because our guild has a private guild forum which is pretty important - it's how we get to know each other, organize events, shadow lairs, and promotions. So if he's not at all interested in forums of any type, Shapeless might not be the way to go.
Anyways,
Everything you said should be fine with us :) We encourage all members to do what ever missions they feel like, and we don't care about your rank. Same with PVP - if someone likes PVP that's great, but it's not a requirement. We have very clear guidelines on promotions (detailed on the forums/pm me for more details). Everyone in /guild chat are always happy to answer questions on acronyms or various other sk questions if needed.

Or poke me with questions. Hope to see you & friends around!
