Post a specific and accurate fact on the benefit(s) of having a max uv on a swiftstrike. If this page is successful, I know many of my gunner friends will use it.

example: In ufsc, d27, a shadow max uv on your swiftstrike will allow you to shield from a turret bullet, without the shield breaking (this may be untrue).

max normal:
max shadow:
max elemental:
max piercing:
max fire:
max freeze:
max poison:
max curse:
max stun:

Fact: dash and bash can be used to dodge. If gunners shoot from a distance, they are safe enough and don't need any UV on their shields.

Little-Juances, I appreciate

Little-Juances, I appreciate your attempt at rebuking this.

What you're saying is, "gunners don't need a uv on their shield" (due to them being able to dodge). An uv on a gunners shield is typically there as a backup. This thread was made for new gunners anyways, who may want an uv to back themselves up.

Don't have to always be using swiftstrike though, especially if you have asi uvs or are using gun asi gear.

anyway I remember a swiftstrike buckler with stun high will break from a trojan hit on D25, but at least no damage was taken.
