Good idea to take a piercing

Good idea to take a piercing sword with you for fiends and beasts as guns won't help for them in tier 3. Blitz Needle is pretty much a given for FSC, and there isn't a lot of use in Biohazard (as fun as it is) so you might want to try Umbra Driver instead.

I might not be a "pro gunslinger", as I do not make a profit [other than crowns] whilst gunning, but I can give you a couple of suggestions.

First being that the heart trinkets aren't going to be of that much benefit to you. Given that you have all guns, it would benefit you a lot more to change out one piece of chaos for any bit of defensive armor, and then to get gun damage/charge trinkets. In fact, I'd greatly suggest not getting heart trinkets and going instead for defensive armor + offensive trinkets. As for which helmet, I'd say seerus. That gives the same buff as chaos, but doesn't completely wreck you defensively.

Second being that, like Leek said, getting biohazard isn't going to be of much benefit, given that it is poor for dealing with gremlins. Umbra driver and sentenza are both great for gremlins as well as slimes, and again like Leek said, a blitz needle would benefit you greatly for fighting vanaduke.

Having 2 elemental alchemers is really nice, but shouldn't be your first priority. Yes, it is powerful, no, it is not necessary. A single alchemer is more than enough to deal damage with.

I'd also suggest you to get a sword if at all possible. Actually, cold iron vanquisher. Why not leviathan? Well leviathan works just as well, but cold iron vanquisher will be of more help when fighting in the firestorm citadel. Cold Iron Vanquisher also works well with charge time reduction, but doesn't need or benefit from having tons of damage increases applied to it... so it'd get to ultra damage, and high ASI, while your guns will be much stronger.

In sum:

Seerus's hat (or chaos, if you're ok with being one shotted by anything dealing fire or shock)
Chaos Cloak

Swift Strike buckler

Umbra Driver
Storm Driver
Blitz Needle
MAYBE: Cold Iron Vanquisher?

Handgun damage trinket X2

........

Then, after that, since life will go on after you get your gear, I'd suggest going for the rest of the alchemers, biohazard, sudaruska..... whatever else you might fancy using.

agree

Have you read the Gunslinger Guide? Have you searched for threads like this? There have been many.

I agree with the other posters. Your armor is the now-classic super-offensive gunslinger armor. It has been discussed in every gunslinging thread. Heart trinkets aren't as useful as offensive trinkets in the Clockworks.

Try a Catalyzer-style gun, but don't be surprised if you find Umbra more useful than Biohazard. I can't imagine why you'd take both Storm and Nova. They're both great, but redundant. You'll want to have Blitz or Plague Needle at some point, although piercing swords are easier for most fiends.

You can't hunt Black Kats until that promo returns sometime in fall or winter.
