So I didn't play this game for a very long time and felt like playing again yesterday. Oddly I started getting lagspikes of 10-15 sec every other two or three minutes,. It's pretty much unplayable and it has caused me unevitable deaths in PvE, not even talking about PvP which was a huge mess. Now, I've been playing this game since april 2011 and I've never had these kind of issues before. Never. I don't think this is on my end as my internet is very solid (on Speedtest I always get a ping<15 ms and down speed at 100 mbps), and I can play any other game fine. What is even stranger, is, despite me beeing from Europe, the EU server feels like it gets more of these lagspikes than the US one.
Anyone had this kind of issues lately?
There have been various changes to the game code, including the new user interface. My vague feeling is that the game has gotten slower. So, even if your computer used to run old SK flawlessly, it may not run new SK flawlessly. I mean, it might be a problem in the computer and software, rather than the server and connection.
