I'm looking for advice, but first I need to tell my story.
The new, fancy, shiny Dragon Wings had recently been released and the promo was still up. That was the first ever promo, so it was a new thing. Not only that, the wings were the only accessories at the time to animated. I was quite jelly, to put it mildly.
One day during that event I opened a Lockbox, and I got a Cool Wolver Tail. 5 minutes later I bumped into someone with Divine Dragon Wings. This person was looking for that Wolver Tail for ages, and really wanted Dragon Wings.) We decided to trade, and he was even as nice as to give me a pair of glasses (on my Groundbreaker to this day), 1k CE, a Weapon Upgrade, and a Trinket Upgrade.
After getting said wings, I ran over to Belchamel and attached them to my best piece of armor at the time: the Wyvern Scale Mail. (Yes I was very very slow to progress back then, even at the standards for THAT time.) I liked how they looked a lot, and all and I was happy for a long time....I even upgraded to Dragon Scale, and I didn't really care that it looked a bit worse. They were shiny and were animated and looked totally epic!
Then it happened. Someone had a thread where he was rating outfits, and I put mine up. It was a Azure Guardian Helmet with a Heavy (I think?) Com Unit, and Dragon Scale Mail with a Pumkin Bomb Bandolier (from the first Halloween event) and my beloved Divine Dragon Wings. I don't know how I thought this looked good...but I did.
Anyway, I got surprised and a bit mad at his response, saying it looked quite ugly. (Not exact wording) I'm happy I didn't have time to reply as soon as I read that, because I would have been pounding the keys so hard. :3
An hour or two later when I was more sober, I realized he was more than right! From then on the Dragon Mail+Divine Wings never really looked the same...
I politely asked for some advice on what to do, and his suggestion on how to fix it was to "balance it out." A year or so has passed, and I still haven't done that! I don't really know what he means! >...<
Should I get a Divine-themed helmet? Should I get accessories? Help! '~' This is really weird coming from a beta player and all, but I'm not really a fashion geek or anything. I really usually don't think about fashion and stuff, but I sorta want to make an exception to that general thing right now and spice up this...mistake.
I'll get some pictures soon. Currently the aforementioned Dragon Scale Mail has Divine Dragon Wings and a Toasty Canteen. One thing which I have which looks sorta good with it is my Grey Owlite Shield, but does this really cut it? (Later I'll list what I currently have, because it would definitely save me money to be able to recycle what I have. I'm not in a hurry to shell a lot of cr/CE/$$$ for cosmetics, you see...)
I have no idea how much divine dragon wings are worth, but If I was you I would unbind it and try and sell it for a small profit. Or if you don't make any profit just try and make the least amount of "loss" if you know what I mean. Then I would get a brand-new costume idea. I suggest you also drop your Azure Guardian Helm simply because there isn't any other armours other than it's default one that matches the Helm. Why not go with something like Crescent helm + coat? That isn't my costume but Surge Crescent Helm + Snarby coat's pretty nice. Unless you like to be different (good for you if you do), you could do something like Silver Bombhead Mask + Vitasuit Deluxe. Divine Dragon wings would suit that ;)
