as the title suggests i think the game needs more flashy charges. some weapons can stay the same such as DA, BTB, WHB, and what ever others you think should stay the same.

for example i think the iron slug should have a different charge than callahan besides color. i think it should be a giant spinning bullet, cant find a picture of this anywhere. another would be for the poison bomb and ice bomb instead of a pool of something on the ground it will be a frost cloud and poison cloud. this is also a thread for you guys to post your idea of a cooler charge. keep in mind this is not a full in-depth charge changing thread. dont expect damage numbers and functions this is purely graphical changes but if your idea requires damage number changes and the such thats fine too.

Each charge reflects on what weapon family and what star it is. Giving slug a new charge will be unnecessary as it is in the same family as Callahan. They are basically clones, only one does piercing hence the bluish bullet. The charge, like I said before, reflects on the star it is. The brandish line demonstrates this perfectly. The higher the star, the bigger and more explosions.

You said that you wanted to change VV. Well, those status bombs are called HAZE bombs.

Just.... srsly?

If this was implented, it would make the game possibly lag more and it would take a while to get put into the game but it doesn't really affect gameplay that much.

There should also be a relation between flashiness and power.
It'll break the mood if lots of fireworks and shiny effects don't even flinch the monster.

Iron Slug is weak. I might like it more if Callahan got more flashy instead...

Compare the charge attack of a brandish to a combuster, I'd say this already happens. We don't need charge attacks to be any more flashy. I might go for the old animation of charging a weapon, though...

We do need more flashy charges, but I am feeling too lazy to come up with them right now. So I hope you come up with some sense it is your thread, you need to ignite the flame within me.

The iron slug charge definitely needs a change, but that won’t happen. Most of all the games graphical effects are recycled so that it can be implemented on any new creation the developers create. This helps them focus more on the programming aspect of the game and less on the graphics (I think) which is an okay thing in my opinion. I would be ecstatic to see some cool new charges as the star of the weapon ascends, but I am happier to see that the weapon works then to see that I fired a huge megaton bullet and the monster barley flinched and the bullet only took out less 10% of the monsters health.

So again, come up with some ideas, and then I will follow with new ones.
