I just did 7-3 Spark and Roar and on the last level, the last room of the arena, a bunch of mecha knights spawned, as normal. However, instead of launching bullets upon unleashing the charge attack, these mecha knights dropped four bombs (bombs like a gremlin demo's bombs) in the same manner as it would have shot bullets. I have never seen this before. This does not seem to be mentioned on the wiki. Is it a bug? A rare attack? Or just something new?

Completely average

The tier 3 non-status mecha knight has always dropped bombs on their 360 charge swings as long as I can remember playing (which was like steam launch :P). So it's something really old.

Anomaly? The reverse actually

Anomaly? The reverse actually - the status-less version of Mecha Knights drops bombs like you said, instead of launch projectiles.

Also, right from the wiki:
"Tier 3: Purple emblem. Attempts to block projectiles. Drops bombs on releasing its charge attack. Visor sight in the shape of an X. "

Yeah but...

I'm pretty sure they were freeze themed but I could be wrong.

Well you said that they were normal in the first post, also I don't think that mission was freeze themed.

Only regular knights drop mines and that's what you saw. Period.

Even if the mission had a freeze theme, it could have spawned non-freeze regular knights (either intentionally or as a different kind of 'anomaly') so there's no point in disscussing it.

@Validious
I meant the spawning pattern was normal

@Little-Juances
Ok, I'll take your word for it. To the graveyard with this thread.
