I fear I might not be able to make it. My experiments have gotten more dangerous day by day.
The Spiral Order's Knight's have even investigated my lab just yesterday. Fortunatly, they didn't find the basement
of the place. It contains one of my most prized experiments. A slime. I found it in the clockworks a few months ago,
in a freeze themed area. A fine specimen of a slime, I say. The Ice Cube didn't have many spikes in it, and was fairly friendly towards me.
But the thing that intrigued me the most was how smooth it was. It's blue skin didn't have any inperfections, so I decided to see why this was
and took it in. If the Order ever even saw it in Haven, they would kill it. I can't bear to think of what they would do if they found out.

Today was one of the worst days of my life. The basement went on fire, and almost all of my projects and blueprints were destroyed.

Except for 2.

The Ice Cube survived, and I hid him while the Spiral Order inspected the basement.
The other thing was a blueprint about a weapon. I wasn't very interested about it, mostly because it didn't seem possible
for it to work. After the gremlins made the construct "Gun Puppy," the Spiral Order was very afraid to see what it was capible of. But, I found one in the clockworks that wasn't working, and saw how the gremlins made it. After, I had been working on a new
project of a giant Gun Puppy that can destroy many things. But the blueprints don't have all the details of it. The armor it is made up of is supposed to be indestructible. And it isn't, but one thing, it's specially designed rockets, can destroy it. That's why I always kept in mind to never build another one, a "Twin" of it. But, since the project was a fail, I threw it away today. Now all I have is, well, the Slime. I have trying to think of a name for it, but never found one.

My son has decided today to become a geo knight. I don't know why, but he chose the job as one. I will not mention his name in , or mine, just in case I get caught. But because of his job decision, I have been spending many hours in the clockworks finding minerals that I hope will be
useful to him. He is still a Soldier though, so I don't know what to expect. I can't write right now, for I have to leave to the clockworks along with my friend, Hubert.

It's been a few weeks since I last wrote. I have been very busy, because of the gremlins, again. After they made the gun puppies, they started
capturing creatures, such as wolvers, zombies, and slimes, and made them into robot like things. Although our scouts havn't found anything out about the wolvers, they founhd out that they made zombie-like robots called retrodes, and combined 2 different types of lichen together. They made a facility called Compound 12, and have so far combined Fire and Sleep, Poisen and Freeze, and Sleep and Freeze. For the undead, there have been rumors of them making some sort of facility, with electric type Zombies. The Knights who went in there never came out, but they did make a distress call. So far, the order has decided to cover up the incident for at least 100 years, not letting anyone go into the facility.

It's been months now. The gremlins, we're sure, have gone insane and put in a whole new level of status type called "Shock." They have put in in monster's genes from wolvers to kats. It's crazy. Also, slooms have gone extinct. All the sleep type enemies have. I don't know why or how, but all the sleep status parts in the clockworks are empty. Some have theoryized that the gremlins destroyed them all, and some say that the poisen status monsters simply overpowered them. The clockworks has become a crazy place, and I'm scared to even go down there. My Son, now a Knight, works down there daily, and it scares me to death. I hope the best for him.

Fiery sorts, I wonder about them. Just today, the last known Vog Cub was slain, and are now considered to be extinct. Over the last few weeks, people have stopped blaming the gremlins about, and have been turning on the Knigdom of Almire. The kingdom has a large, what we call "Vog Cave," near it, that houses a lot of Vog Cubs and fire types, which is why they blame them. But just a few days ago, Hubert found out that it is our fault. The cubs have been hunted for their coats, and are now being sold in the Blackmarket, what we call the Auction House. By now, many Spiral Order Knights have been supicious of all wolver coats because of that, even just Ash Tail coats. He wonders what the people like us there would do in something like this.

Just today, people have found out that the gremlins have started a new project called "Project Ironwood Sentinel." Basically, in wolver dens, they cut out the trees and make them robonized, like treants. So far, only 11 deaths have been recorded, but who knows how many will come in the future.

Only 2 weeks. 2 weeks after my previous entry, the gremlins stopped the ironwood program, and are probably never making ANYTHING like it again.
It's really humorous to everyone, and have been joking around about it ever since. But aside from all that, I found out something very interesting about the Ice Cube. I saw something red beeping in him, and did careful surgeory to remove it from him, having to de-spike him. It turned out to be a metal gear with lights on it, also used in the Ironwoods, which made me start to do more research on him. I showed it to the authorities, making up a fake story of how I found it before the project started, carefully avoiding all things about the Cube, but they didn't think of anything about it.

I look at this rusted journal and wonder now. It's been 3 and a half years, and the only reason I feel that I should write in this is because of what happened yesterday. I was with Hubert and 3 other Knights on a clockwork journey, when we were surrounded in a room. Flamethrower-like puppies shot at use from everywhere, while gremlins battled us with their hammers. 1 knight went down, and it was too much for us to handle. We ran out of the room, and down a giant hallway. Gremlins were chasing us, and were advancing fast. Because I was a scientist, they put me in front of the charge in hopes of protecting me, right in front of Hubert. Then, Hubert ran up to me and said he would hold them off. Before I could even process what he was saying, he went off and fought them, but he was quickly beat. As I ran with the two other Knights beside me, tears fell down my eyes. We them saw a light at the end of the long tunnel, and jumped out into the light without even thinking. We fell down a large cliff, so large that the gremlins stopped chasing us. Then, we came across a piece of land we dubbed "The Rescue Camp" because it gave us refuge for the next few hours. A rescue squad soon picked us up and took us back to Haven. But truth be told, I like it there. It wasn't Haven, but it wasn't the clockworks either, a completely different thing. And just when I was thinking about all of that, I knew the name for the Ice Cube, Hubert.

I retired today. It was good knowing that I wouldn't have to do anything today. But before I did anything, I justified Hubert. The order changed in the last few years, and allowed me to have him. But I wouldn't have him. My son, who was a Defender Elite Geo Knight, would. I let him have it for adventuring, and he was happy about it. I have decided to share these memories, and will wrap this journal up, and put it somewhere. I don't know where and who will find it, but I hope it will explain the past.

Epilogue
Years after the Ironwood Sentinel Program, the gremlins made another construct type similiar to the ironwoods called lumbers. Lord Vanaduke was soon transformed in the "Vog Cave," and the scientist's blueprint was found by gremlins, and used. The rescue camp was soon used again as a refuge to Knights who fell near it on the crash of Skylark. The blackmarket Auction House was soon legalized and replaced all stores and such. But, hey, you've played this game before, you know what happened with everything else mentioned in this journal.
