After reading the description of Seraphynx and combining it with out previous knowledge, it seems to be support- and heal- based. At first glance, this seems great for support players and guardians. But, it could also be good for glass cannon players, to give them support and defense when soloing. So which do you guys think it will be better for? Supplementing the strengths of supports, or filling in the weaknesses of DPSers?
How will people use Seraphynx?

We don't know yet, though it's looking like probably not. This is about PvE.

It will just make soloing easier for nearly everyone, including Chaos Clones. Unless OOO makes a huge buff for the monsters or IMPROVE THEIR TINY BRAINS ( AI ), grinding missions will be much easier than before. Oh by the way, Clockwerks has some places that are harder than what you think, so... You should pay a visit if you really think that everything in SK is damn easy.

None of Seraphynx' buffs applies to only the player using them. I imagine it's going to be carried by supporting players, such as haze/vortex bombers, but it will be useful to the glass cannons in the party too. I think the laser compliments a troika/plate armour user quite well while it would add nothing to someone with blitzes and brandishes.

Venom Veiler -> Electron Vortex -> Heart Attack (probably with extra hearty)
That's the most productive thing I can think to use it for.
Those weapons could belong to a support-bomber guy who then drops some more status bombs, or it could belong to a chaos clone who then smashes the vortex with a high damage charge.

Drakon's flame shield seems good enough if you solo. It protects and damages.
Wait so the battle sprites be available in Lockdown too?
