Hi, I stopped playing spiral knights for a few weeks and just recently came back and noticed the keybinds were all different after the combat update. I was quite upset when i found that the left shift could no longer be mapped by itself because that is what i used as my action key. I would suggest giving the players more options such as the ability to map any key on its own (possibly bringing up a dialog box to ask if that is what the player intended to do) when choosing keybinds.
You know, there is a custom controls options and you can bind shift as normal if you first take a look at the bind that says "modifier key" and assing something else to it :P
