Ok so let's see. We have Exalted Honor Guard, which is a reskin of the Aegis while functioning completely like it. We have Lionheart Honor Blade, which is a remodel (it has different model specs!) of the Leviathan Blade. Then Scissor Blades, which is also a remodel of the Leviathan Blade...
Then of course you have things like Biohazard and Neutralizer which are literally reskins of the same thing, but it functions differently (to a certain extent). And of course the elemental brandishes, among other things.
What if Weapon Skins became an actual thing for certain gear?
For something simple, you could have... say, the 2* Wrench Wand. If you look closely it's really the exact thing T2 menders use. Let's say... we give reskins for it, it could have the appearance of the T1 green wrench wand or a T3 purple wrench wand.
I'm sure there are better things out there. This is not a suggestion, but I'd want to discuss if weapon skins were implemented:
-Would you buy them? For CE? Promo? Crowns?
-How do you think something like this will affect economy?
Just for curiosity's sake. I couldn't find a thread elsewhere on this...

Just as you said that, recolored wrech wands could be upgrades or new weapons altogether (status effects, damage types) instead of costumes for it.
Scissor blades and Honor blade could have been more special, like having less damage for more speed and viceversa, come with a bonus like CIV but instead of against undeads, constructs or gremlins, etc.
Basically any "costume" or "reskin" can be a potential new weapon to spice up things instead of being a strictly visual thing.
And I'm sure people would get more excited with new weapons.
