When I boot up SK I see no logging in with steam option. Before, It would just automatically log in with my steam account and I was good to go. I was never given a username to begin with so I can't login.

All fixed now, but maybe it will happen again in the future
I can confirm this; the same thing is happening to me.
I had the issue a few days ago, but it went away; now it's come back. I think it might be something to do with the Steam network having issues - perhaps this prevents the Steam API from authenticating me to Spiral Knights?
