So I've been gone from this game for a long time. I believe I left around the time they gave out Lionheart Honor blades? I'm all 5* with plenty of Vana runs under my belt and a shadow run or two. What's changed? What should I know about? Thanks, everyone!

I'm looking for player feedback kind of stuff, not just a list of changes. What do people run these days for cash or fun? What equipment has fallen out of favor? I remember there being something about the changing of RSS. How has that affected the game? What equipment is considered "necessary" in today's meta? These kinds of things can't be found in the announcements or in the release notes. Besides, who wants to read 1+ years of release notes? xD

The problems with this thread (and all threads like it) are:
* We don't know how long you've been gone, so we don't even know what's "new" to you. Only you know that.
* You're asking us to discuss many different topics, all of which have already been discussed to death.
But here, let me help you out with the big topics of discussion:
* The user interface was changed, sparking huge outrage. Search Google for "spiral knights forum UI".
* Chaos armor was buffed, to the point where it makes all other armor obsolete, if you have the UVs or dodging skills to make up for the status penalties. Search Google for "spiral knights forum chaos".
* The old RSS was "replaced" with a new line of six 5-star shard bombs, sparking huge outrage. Search Google for "spiral knights forum shard".
* Were you here for the introduction of missions? (I don't know. How would I?) They completely changed the player experience and the economy. Search Google for "spiral knights forum mission".

If you really want to know what's changed, then read the Announcements forum or the release notes on the wiki. Either of these will give you a reliable, organized, detailed account of the changes to the game. In contrast, a forum thread will give you an unreliable, disorganized, incomplete account.
