Do they block people with higher than mission-rank equipment to get into the mission (ex: a 5* player trying to go into JK), let people with low rank unable to equip better equipments or both? I have read Nick's post but still have doubts on this, and as I'm not on the test server I can't test to see which one is true.

EDIT: Unless you mean The Arsenal, in which case it would be relevant with the forum's content, though I think it would still be easier to get an answer on General than on Arsenal.
You can't use 5* unless you're a vanguard, 4* unless you're a defender-elite and so on. Why don't you try to READ next time?

I have read it but the text is ambiguous, it isn't explicit if by "Mission Rank" they mean that a knight with Rank X can't equip item Y, or if a knight trying to do mission Z can't do it with item Y (the example he uses would mean that the first one is right, although I want confirmation if the latter isn't right too).
If really is just that then I'm cool with it, I would only have a problem with the limits if it got in the way of helping guildies into lower rank missions just because I don't have lower rank items.

You can get 5* items as early on as Defender elite, 4* as early as Knight elite and so on. You should try reading next time...

Rank 1.1 - 0*, 1*
Rank 3.1 - 2*
Rank 5.1 - 3*
Rank 6.1 - 4*
Rank 8.1 - 5*
Also i can confirm you that i was able to use 5 stars gear on low rank mission, there so yes its pretty much about if you dont have rank X you cant wear Y gear

I've been supporting OOO since May 2011, and this is what they do? Smack me across the face and say "Hey, youv'e been here since before missions old chum, but since your a Knight rank, you can't use any of your Useful equipment ever again!! SNORT SNORT AHAAHAHA!"

you just cant wear that armor when going into those missions.
