Lately there are people who are talking about what's on the testing servers, yet all their threads are getting locked! Either "This is only for Testing players" or "This is the wrong forum." I'm not saying that the response is an issue. I feel that a new subforum would fix everything

This subforum, probably called something like "Testing Discussion," would be a bin for opinions, concerns, and suggestions to the upcoming content. While feedback from this section probably wouldn't be as top priority, it would be a good place to check to see how a greater chunk of the community likes the update. According to the rules of the subforum, anyone could post in it. This way, "Testing Feedback" gets left to what it was intended to be: a place for direct feedback from the beta testers, and many posters get to happily post stuff about it.

Once again, this is in response to the large outburst of threads which are getting locked.

This would be quite good, as it makes no sense that we can discuss upcoming features but not when they are in the test server. By their logic of"no spoiling the ones who wanna be surprised" and "you can only discuss if you tested it" all the other battle sprites info and discussions prior to the test servers should be locked and graveyarded (including Nick's post about it's skills on Announcements).
A note to the devs/gms: It's not always about giving feedback to you guys, my thread that got locked and some others too were only discussing/mentioning the upcoming features with no intention of giving any feedback and still got locked and graveyarded with the "no feedback outside of testing forum" excuse.

The subforum is for feedback on the test server from people who have access. This would basically be a way to separate the people who have access and can provide hands-on feedback from the people who have only read the forum posts and have an opinion based on what they've heard.

Uneducated opinions can be valuable in these scenarios (which people seem to be oblivious to).

I doubt it'd happen though: Three Rings staff seem to like cutting people's tongues out recently.

wait WHAT? You expect people who CAN'T USE THE TEST SERVER to give feeback FOR THE TEST SERVER?

No, I expect people to be able to express their feelings about, and discuss in some capacity, the planned new features. You don't have to have experienced everything hands on before you're able to talk about it.

Klipik-Forum, I have no idea. The threads will just get locked because Three Rings thinks that everything related to the testing server is feedback, but we're not critiquing the testing server. We're just talking about it.

No, this forum isn't necessarily for bashing stuff. It would be intended for non-tester's opinions. Though they may be incomplete, let's say that some people who don't have the testing server might see something which is flawed which no one else has seen/pointed out. They could also get their questions answered.

The issue is this: When OOO releases something, they won't change it unless there is a game breaking problem. Many players want to take this opportunity to get things straight before they hit the master server. The testing server is for smashing out kinks, so it's best to get all the help in finding them as possible.
