I was wondering how one becomes a tester? I looked around the forums a bit but I couldn't find an answer.

For this round of testing, the requirement has been lowered to 5$, instead of the usual $10.
And you don't need to buy CE specifically. I got onto the test server just by buying an Elevator Pass.

The current requirements are $4.95 in the past 3 months. Better than the $9.95 in the past 30 days we used to have, but I've always been invited anyway :P

$5 in the last 3 months. You need to pay $20 a year to have (essentially) permanent access to the test server. :D
You need to have bought at least 10$ worth of ce in the past month to test.
