OOO seems to be planning to do it.

So today I learned that you can jump from "PvE Trolling" to "OOO sucks at updates" in simply three moves.

Anyway, they took a lot of time trying to make sure you couldn't actively harass players in PvE - ranging from removing the Furious Flamberge's ability to catch people on fire to altering how Fire Pots worked to prevent players with better-than-average aim from being able to light other players on fire. The only way you can "troll" in PvE is to use the hammer to push someone into a spike trap while they're AFK so they die. But that's hardly trolling if they're not around to see it.

Spam one of these while wearing stuff that gives you CTR on Bombs: Nitronome, Big Angry Bomb, Irontech Destroyer or Heavy Deconstructor. You can also try it with any Shard line as all the shards can make some players lag and the knockback, while small, can be really unpredictable and annoying.

Polaris/Supernova random spam, making party members miss their sword hits or sending enemies closer to party members so they can get hit. Plus, the huge bullets might make it hard for them to see what they're doing.

In Compound 42, use Ash of Agni, Combuster / Fang of Vog charge or Magma Driver (or any other weapon that deals the Fire status).

Go into a Vanaduke party with weapons that deal only Normal damage, with Volcanic Pepperbox replacing your Blitz Needle.

If you find a Love Puppy, kill it as soon as possible. Bonus points if you're in a battle where everyone is busy but you can get your health up before killing the Puppy.

If your party dies at Vanaduke but you manage to beat him by yourself, go Solo as soon as he dies (This might be more evil/poopy head than troll. Depends on the kind of Knight you are :p)

You know I enjoy switch shooting my polaris and supernova so as to never reload.

PvE trolling:

Polaris delayed switch

People often uses fast bullet projectile to switch, AP or Valiance let's say. Just shoot Polaris at the same time or slightly after, you'll trigger the switch again leaving someone dashing in a gate

Fire pots of DOOM

On certain levels you have fire pots (not vials, pots on the ground you can pick up) and you can make people catch on fire with it. Best place is in Danger Mission (The Frozen one) after completing the ice-ring arena (2nd last before boss) pick up the fire pot on the left and throw it upward right away, people will be blocked by the ice and will catch fire. They usually don't have fire rez for this level, dunno why :D

Shield Bumping Attacks

This is an hard one but once you get the hang of it, you can do it pretty easy. Just have a zombol follow you to someone and have it attack then QUICKLY shield bump his attack toward your party member (zombol spewing element = best thing ever for this)

Last man on switch

When you have the last totem (for FSC mostly) and the gate/fence goes down, simply walk on the button to turn it on/off so people see the gate closing/opening and cannot move toward. It won't last long but it's funneh :D

Dashing madness!

This is for experienced people with dash, I cannot do it but I see a lot of people do it. Steal dash pills/vita

The ultimate troll

Drop your pill and pick it up when nobody has 1 while fighting. People usually don't see you drop them and think you keep using pills. Rage incoming.

Mecha Knight army!!!

Spam as much Mecha Knight you find as possible, they can shock you if they "surge" themself and you stand next to them.

Warhammer is a tad too slow and risky to put people into fire/spikes IMO. We troll each other out in our guild cause we are soooo bored at FSC. Did you know Vana can cancel out your animation of opening a prize box? And that you can open a prize box while dead? :D
