Limiting choices was the mistake made in the previous thread of this type. Besides, why should I limit your choices to a list? Are there just some weapons incapable of being loved?

Casting my own vote

I'm torn between the Troika and the Valiance. My Blasters and Valiance are the trustworthiest guns I ever had the pleasure of using. Need to get something out of your face? Valiance. Want to keep your distance like a good gunslinger without annoying your party? Valiance. Have you noticed any threads asking for a mobile piercing gun that can hit Devilites? You don't have piercing, but you can still show them your Valiance. Need an overpowered gun to kill stuff in Lockdown? Valiance. Need a trusty gun you can take anywhere in the Clockworks? Valiance. Hands down the best gun in the game.

So it really takes an amazing weapon to compete with the Valiance, and the Troika really fits the bill. What it lacks in power, it makes up for in sheer awesomeness. I literally laughed out loud every time I smashed something with it. Gosh, that was so much fun! I enjoyed repeating Tony Stark's line in The Avengers whenever I used its charge: "Hulk? Smash."

Overall, I'm gonna say Valiance. I still take her out on dates to FSC for old-times' sake, and she doesn't fail me often. Though, those zombie leaps still pose a challenge for her, but it's nothing she can't overcome. I've slain Devilites, Wolvers, Gremlins, rarely Trojans, and even Vanaduke himself with her. There's really no better weapon that deserves the honor of being named Valiance.

This is interesting. "Favorite Weapon" constitutes not only an appreciation for attacking ability but also for aesthetics and other uses.

...Or does it? "Favorite weapon" in this case refers to the "weapon" which is "favored most"(hence "favorite") in certain situations. But what situations might these be? If I were trying to defeat a mob of Greavers, I would probably want a Dark Briar Barrage, but if I were trying to defeat Green Mini Jellies, I would prefer an Acheron. Since this question requires the answerer to choose only one, it would be prudent to choose a weapon which works well in all situations -- eliminating many of the less-used weapons. Considering this, I would choose the Nitronome, as it has the ability to do significant damage to all enemies and can be used quite efficiently with the requisite movement speed and charge time reduction modules/armors/helmets.

Don't mince the word too much. Anything from the Final Flourish to the Wrench Wand are acceptable "most-loved" or "favorite" weapons. Feel free to define "favorite" however you want. I recommend choosing a weapon that you find the most 1) fun to use, 2) most aesthetically appealing, or 3) most useful to you.

So, if you find the DBB to be more useful against fiends than the Acheron is against Green Mini Jellies, then pick the DBB. If you like the look of the Wrench Wand more than you do the Leviathan Blade, feel free to pick the Wrench Wand. Define "favorite" however you want, I don't care. I'm just here to tally the votes. ^.^

ON TOPIC:
Although there are a lot of weapons I have not been able to use yet, it is still a very hard decision to pick a favorite. Spike Shower, Cold Iron Carver, and Silent Nightblade are a few weapons that I have tried and enjoyed (on another character :P). I have also had a ton of fun with the Punch Gun in Tier 1. However, I do love my Shivermist Buster. I quite enjoy freezing monsters in place and then coming in and unleashing an Ascended Calibur charge (yes, most of my weapons are still 4*). Such a tough decision! If I have to pick only one, I guess I will go with the Shiver… for now at least.

There's a place in Scarlet Fortress with a loop of respawning Blast Blocks, with a pair of timed ones to provide a delay so you can have an endless loop of exploding death. I think that may be the weapon I love most right now, though I think it may be usurped by the upcoming backpack weapon with Poison-inflicting projectiles, a heavy delayed-effect attack, and active camouflage.

Actually, I think Oatmonster is referring to these. The old shard bombs. Yes, they were the "real" ones for me. I just LOVED trolling around with them in Lockdown. Ahh, the 19,000 damage I would make. The amazing memories. The new currently existing shard bombs are a dud!

My current favorite weapon is Fiery Vaporizer MK II, solely because I spend most of my time in Tier 2 Lockdown and many people die from the fire, and it matches well with my recon skills. It's really funny to see newbies run in the fire :D
