Similar to Warmaster Rocket Hammer but a ranged rocket launcher/gun instead of a hammer/sword.
It should be very alike the hammer visually, also same damage type.

It sounds like it'll make blast bombs obsolete. Else it'd be a Polaris/Supernova clone.
Solution: turn it into a sort of shadow pulsar. Seerus wanted shadow weapons to kill other gremlins after all (dark retribution description)

As for the gun...um...I don't know.
What if this new gun was more of a high damage per shot gun and less mobility. Perhaps like Magnus and Blitz, one stands still while shooting and while reloading. It will become a BAB but with range and elemental damage, and limited access as with hammer. Nitrome will still have its purpose :)
And with 1 shot per clip, it won't be spammable as Polaris is.
