So, as many of you don't know, I was on vacation. And as many of you don't care, I was on vacation. And I'm on a 5 hour plane ride from West Coast to East Coast, and it brings me to mention how terrible Gogo Inflight internet it.

Now, having a Chromebook (the sexiest work computer around), I get 12 free passes to use Gogo Infight. After using 1 of them flying here, I realized that you couldn't do anything online but post stuff, check your Facebook, or read... a forum. So now, flying back, I decided to use another. Your ping is terrible, as is your download speed. Even www.pingtest.net wants rate my wifi at 1 star. And to think that the BBB gave them an A, it hurts my mind.

So, in essence, Gogo Inflight sucks.
And also, are you guys going anywhere on vacation?

Have a good day,

I went on a vacation two weeks ago. 1 week at California visiting my cousins and going to a wedding and the other on a cruise to Alaska!

I don't really use internet wifi. I don't know how in-flight wifi works

Gogo Inflight works kind of like this...

@Blade-Of-Grass
I presume it works like this.
There's a router on the plan that has your planes' current location. It then scans the area for the closest server near it owned by Gogo. After that, it works like regular internet. But the server you're on is constantly changing. One moment I had 50 ping and 6 mb per second download rate, and the next I had 400 ping with .2 mb download rate. It's all confusing.

And what's it like in Alaska? I'm flying back from Seattle right now, and it's been nice so far. We got a lunch/dinner/meal choice of Chicken with Rice with a salad, or Gnocchi with Tomato sauce. Dessert was some kind of citrus-cake with coffee, a nice touch. I've been playing FIFA '13 and foruming basically the whole time...
