Right now, if you bribe Krogmo and get something for the winning team, it's possible for it to go to every single participant if they all tie for 1st place. This should be fixed so that ONLY the winning team gets the prize. If they tie, no one gets it. Simple.
The idea of bribing is to increases the stakes of the fight, not turn it into a "wait for the clock" competition.

Also once we got a tie in LD. I forget how. It was ages ago.

I'd want to flat out tie in a BN match for a bombhead so everybody(or at least the ones who actually deserves it) could get it.
As a person who knows all too well the likes of some pvp'ers... No.
Why? Because grinding bombheads is a pain in the neck. Ties are ties, and to punish anyone for being someone's equal/ two groups for being of the same ability is downright cog spittle.
You also have obviously not dealt with the likes of some of the players I've seen in BN, let's just say tying for anything is effort enough for whatever the prize may be. Besides, if you can get 4 people (let alone entire ld teams) to work for a tie, then I personally think you should be rewarded for playing as a team, as this game used to promote. Unfortunately, used to is the operative.
