i'm trying to purchase 45k Crystal Energy Package via Steam wallet.
As i click Purchase, it says that "you reached your Spending Limits, your card was not charged"
Card? what Card? if it means credit card, i don't have one... i Top-up Steam Wallet Via Steam code redeem...

i just started playing The Game few days ago... Spending limits? seriously? The first MMO i ever played that have SPENDING LIMIT!!!
and it's urgent i need those CE for Items... and The Seller of the items would only give me an hour to resolve this... or he/she would sell those items to someone else... (=.=)... well i did promise i would top-up and pay him/her today... (=x=)

i'm was so gonna dump 3k~5k cash into this game, but now....
have already mail the support team via steam website... if they can't somehow raise the limit of spending... within this 1-2hours...
Well... bye bye spiral knights... im gonna quit it...
i don't have much time like other gamers out there that they could spend whole day playing mmo...
I spent most of my time on my works. and i only have a few hours to play daily... which i prefer to use cash to buy in-game stuff...

time is priceless~

Sincerely:
Silverie

ello =)'Accounts start out

ello =)

I might be able to give you a solution, I tend to buy steam games/gift cards for 600ce per dollar. add me in game or steam if you wish to discuss
http://steamcommunity.com/id/extrajuicybits/

'Accounts start out with a spending limit of $100 for a 30 day period--not a calendar month, but the past 30 days. This limit will easily be enough for the vast majority of players, but some may wish to spend more for various reasons.
As you spend near this limit it will automatically go up to $200, $400 and $800 slowly over time.

Should you wish to raise your Spiral Knights account's spending limit ahead of schedule, you may contact us and we will review your account to see if this is possible. Be sure to list the name of your main knight to speed up the process. Please note that we are unable to raise the limit in some cases. In those cases, the spending limit will still rise normally over time while the account is in good standing.'

Two things concern me here.

1: You're willing to quit a game because it won't let you immediately drop large bundles of cash on it.
2: You're able to spend $3-5k, on a whim, and you can't construct a coherent sentence.

No1. yup, spiral knights is the only MMO that i ever seen that have such annoying energy system, mist energy takes about 22hour to get full.
and assuming you have read what i post, i think you would see my reason why i don't have such time.
Which means i won't mind Dropping a large bundle of cash into a Game, cuz it saves a lot of time, for me of course...
No2. i said "i'm was so gonna dump 3k~5k cash into this game" But i didn't say on a Whim.
i spent Cash on MMO all the time... sometimes $1k or 2k in a month on the same game.
No3. "coherent sentence" lol... that's a nice joke there my friend

On a whim means not after much thought. You said you're willing to spend thousands of dollars on a game you haven't even played for a month. And seriously, I have to read your posts twice over to understand them. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

"You said you're willing to spend thousands of dollars on a game you haven't even played for a month"
Why not? i have the cash to spend on it. as long as i feel that it's worth it and satisfied, that's all that matters...

" And seriously, I have to read your posts twice over to understand them"
errr... i should say thank you maybe? lol

" If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?"
i don't mind & i'm 23~

It prevents 2 things:
-Someone hacks your account and spend all the money -sadly only SK prevents this, but if steam as a whole had a limit....-
-Kids making their parents go bankrupt :P
-Mistakes.. like putting an extra zero and spend $1000 in one go (lol)

The pros outweight the cons. You can either use a different account and transfer the energy, mail support or just wait.

"-Someone hacks your account and spend all the money -sadly only SK prevents this, but if steam as a whole had a limit....-"
and yet there's tons of account being hacked anyway.

"Kids making their parents go bankrupt"
and if you have read my post, i already have my own job and i don't rely my parents for money lol.... who would?

"Mistakes.. like putting an extra zero and spend $1000 in one go"
people would never grown up if they don't make mistake and learned from it... Just sayin

"It prevents 2 things:"
Correction You stated 3 things~

"The pros outweight the cons"
errrr.... i don't see any Pros except for spiral knight is CUTE....lmao

"You can either use a different account and transfer the energy"
Seems like that is the only way out... Creating tons of Smurf Steam Account... lul

"mail support"
Done~

" just wait."
Waste of time... lol

If it says "Spending limit", it probably means you've spent about $1000. I could be wrong about how much the maximum limit is.

What Juances said, make a new Steam / Spiral Knights account and transfer the CE.

First world problems.

"I can't spend money fast enough."

I'm not sure why the devs oppose you putting an extra zero on there, or kids spending all their parent's money. I say let them. Its their fault, and it benefits we the knights of spiral so I'm glad for it.

well, I guess that the reason for the spending limit is the same as this whole update: slowing progression so you actually play the game. not a smart move, but I guess it seems logical to some people.

This is not to prevent hacking, this is to prevent hackers from going too far.

"Kids making their parents go bankrupt"

Not necessarily you. In the future, your son/daughter might do this.

This is just a small mistake with bad, really bad resultss...

other reason

I believe another reason is to stop the use of fake credit cards.
I know it's a big deal in WoW, not sure about SK.

but it takes time for credit card funds to be transferred, about 2 to 4 days.
so they won't really know if the credit card details you've used are fake or stoen for at least those few days

I remember in WoW the cash store mount, people were selling them for 10k gold in the cities, and gullible people were buying them.
then 3 or 4 days later the mount would disappear from their account and they receive a letter from Blizz saying that it was purchased with a fake credit card.
and probably by then the account and their 10k gold was long gone.

Ohhh WoW.... yea, i remember

Ohhh WoW.... yea, i remember WoW... i guess Broxaim have a point there....

Well...
for now the only way to solve the Spending Limit problem i'm facing is by making 8-9 Steam Account and Spend 100$ on each of those to get 45k CE....
B'cuz Mailing Support Team Doesn't seems to work, They said they need a few weeks to review Spiral knight account before they Increase Thee Spending limits...

instead of making steam

instead of making steam accounts, you could just make sk accounts from the main client

out of curiosity

What the heck are you buying?

$100 = 40k CE if you buy two of the $50 packs... You can easily get all the gear you need without dropping $3000 on the game.

Also, I've never seen an MMO where you actually learn anything about the game or get any skill from just buying your way to end gear. If you don't have much time to spend on games, then just focus on one game at a time. Personally I'd rather save my money to buy my dream car, but hey, to each their own.

@Extrajuicybits: instead of

@Extrajuicybits: instead of making steam.
hmmm... Well... The Problem is, the only way for me to Get CE is Through Steam Wallet Via Steam Code Redeem, Since i Don't Have Credit card and i Don't use paypal as well. and Any other Option is not available in my Country, Unless i have credit card or paypal... so..... yea.... Steam Code redeem is the only way.
Well, Personally, i think Credit Card System is a like bad Habit, not to say it's useless, it's convenient.
but if you used it once or twice, you would start to depend on it. :D
haha... i don't Smoke or Drink...
so.... Gaming would be my only Bad Habit XD

@Randomzz: out of curiosity
Haha Thanks for ya concern :)
all i need is a Functional Car :D
i'm not interested in any other stuff...... except, My Work and Gaming :)
Work = Wife no.1
Gaming = Wife no.2

haha... XD
