I know why all your threads of criticism are getting locked.

Poseidon CLEARLY STATED on "Forum rules and help" that repeating threads such as suggestions, criticisms, or other things will get locked because of them being repeated.

Quote: "DO NOT: Re-create threads that have been Graveyarded, locked, or unpublished"

This includes everything from "UGM WHY A NEW UI!?" to "Y OOO cower like cowards at criticism?"

And according to my observations, I have come to the conclusion that 75% of the SK community is too stubborn to follow directions such as "Please post your feedback in the feedback forum!" Or however Nick says that...

Your remember that forum? That one at the very bottom of all threads on the main forum page?

Most of your complaints or ideas have been re-created countless times in the General Discussion or Suggestions. (Don't be called a hypocrite because this is in GD), and seeing all of the forums flooded with them compels the OOO staff to lock them, Graveyard them, or delete them entirely.

TL;DR: Keep your ideas / complaints / criticisms where they belong, and they only need one thread. Not 9,000.clones of one thing.

I understand you all are outraged at something, and I myself, am not happy with a few things (Sparks of life and difficulties), but keep them calm, rational, and like I said, ONE THREAD OF ONE THING where it belongs. Suggestions, Feedback, Etc. If we do this, they just might hear our voices over all those complaints we see nowadays.

And let me say this: Poseidon, or Eurydice, if you're reading this and choose to lock it, I won't want to live on this planet anymore.

Opinions and [constructive] criticisms welcome.

Thank you for your time.

Non-critical topics relating

Non-critical topics relating to testing feedback, etc, aren't getting the same treatment. That's the problem.

If you actually read more than the title to "Y OOO cower like cowards at criticism?", a title that was graciously revised by the topics OP, you would have understood that. But no! You're too important! Think about more then the title? Not even worth your time! Comment on a thread? Nah, I'll make my reply a WHOLE TOPIC, because my opinion is so special. And IRONICALLY, You're complaining about people who don't keep things in one forum. Epic hypocrisy.

I'm sure you're thinking "Why didn't you go into the other threads that were against OOO? Aren't you the one setting a double standard, only picking on the guy who covers OOO's hide?" No. I don't mind if people do this. Much in the way I don't mind if someone drinks. I just don't like hearing about the dangers of alcoholism from someone who's too drunk to stand up.

please note that we out of the test server cannot post anithing about the stuff that is not battle sprite. and 90% of recently locked forum discussions were locked for that reason.
fact is, the route was: post on GD about revives-> thread locked because it's not in the right section-> post on testing feedback-> admin creates topic that states "you cannot post if you haven't tested it"-> re-post on GD about criticism. here there is a problem. where is the first thread that had been opened about criticism. oh, it's still open. post there. don't create copies of threads that already exist.
if this guy continues, copypaste previous responses from the other thread here until this one gets locked or graveyarded. because last thing that orangeo said.

@Orangeo: You do make an interesting point, though, I'll have do disregard your sarcasm in the middle there. And on that "Ironic part", I'm just tired of everyone coming at OOO like a pack of 1,000 Alpha Wolvers and I wish they would just settle the heck down for once. I have seen a some cleaner topics along the way, maybe further, and I just want to ensure everyone doesn't like I said, swarm them.

@Thunder-The-Bright: I was following you along quite well, then around near the end you lost me. Sorry dude.

I've been looking at 5-7 pages worth of threads on GD. If anyone is saying that's a bad base for my statement such as this, I apologize.

I don't think you can make

I don't think you can make people settle down by acting up. Of course, I don't mind the wolvers anyway.

@Orangeo:

I agree.. At first they're easy you can kill off a bunch of them, but if there's too many like at every corner and at every pixel in the room, then yeah it's a problem. But like I said before... Let's not get on OOO's face too much.

Laughter is the countdown to devastation

ONE THREAD OF ONE THING

In the Test Feedback there's two threads about Battle Sprites; one created by Eurydice, and one created by Nick here that was moved there.

Keep your ideads / complaints / criticisms where they belong, and they only need one thread.

The IDead! Made by Apple!

Seriously, where do we stick complaints or criticism if they are supposed to be in a thread where they don't belong?

@Gravelord-Caste:I've seen

@Gravelord-Caste:

I've seen them both. I'm fine with threads like "Help me choose my sprite" or "what sprites would you put in?". But if it's like 10 of them like the complaints and criticisms I've seen recently within the past week-and-a-half, then that's what bothers me.

I said to keep complaints and criticisms where they need to be which would be suggestions or feedback, in which, I didn't see that it had "Test server" above Testing Feedback so.... Derp :s

You know, if you're going to aim a thread a someone, you might as well post in theirs. Just saying. Right now you're just cluttering things instead of keeping it all in one thread, which you're OP seems to be against ;) Not to mention I think there was another one of these, but at least you're using reason here instead of calling us all crying baby sissies. Proper English too, that's a real plus.

But anyways, after what grave and orange have said, which I might expand on later, I simply have:
I don't care if OOO locks threads out of place. I'm all for it. What I do have issues with is when they lock threads that were in their proper place with either no valid reason or a reason that ignores several other existing threads and lets them be.

One could also make a case that GD is in fact the place for feedback of existing game features, considering we have the GM precedent of posting patch threads specifically for us to comment on.

Food for thought: if a thread is wrongfully locked, should subsequent threads be locked for "recreating" a thread that shouldn't have been locked in the first place? Not necessarily saying that applies to examples I use, just want to know your answer.

Attacking grammar is bad

Attacking grammar is bad juju. I'm not saying its wrong, it's just bad juju. I usually make no errors when I write unless I'm pointing out someone else's english flaws. Hex managed to pull it off though Q_Q

That's a very good point, though I'm just a simple forum poster if anything. Not a pro topic creator so excuse me if I make a few mistakes.
Also, you can edit your posts if you're logged in so you can fix them. I tend to do that.

Oops

The first paragraph was meant to have a joking tone. Sorry if you took that seriously.

I do know about editing haha. Hex had already caught it before I did, though, so there wasn't much use.

I do agree with most of what you said, btw. Like a thread now locked and graveyarded this afternoon addressing far more reskin and rehash going on than truly new content. I completely agreed with the message, and it was done fairly respectfully (I thought). It was, however, using elite difficulty as its main point and was in GenDisc. If it had been in testing feedback I could argue for it, but it was sadly out of place and thus I can't. My thread is addressing OOO's actions where your reasons don't apply.

Everyone explains their OP

Everyone explains their OP and realizes they don't really disagree much at all. It's like watching a well timed sitcom.

On another note, a GenDisc sounds like something you put in your disk drive to win the internet.

That was the strongest fluid argument I've ever seen irillusion. Your deep understanding of logic perplexes my weak feeble mind. I can't believe I didn't see it this way before.

Though seriously, you should look at the image papaya posted.
