Those bombs are easy to escape (Unless there are 5 bombers who are surrounding you with the bomb).

Well, I'm usually able to take strikers by surprise. Ordinarily, I can simply keep people who are caught in a continuous chain of bombs, and I carry a sudaruska so that I can get decent damage without having to wait for the blast to happen.

I like the idea of being a lockdown trapmaster, it would bring some more playstyle variety and maybe encourage more bombers.
I was thinking more along the lines of EV + Stagger Storm + DBB, or VT + Stagger Storm + DBB (few people have shock and stun resist)

I suggested Dark Retribution because while spasming from shock you have zero invincibility frames and thus are vulnerable to the full force of the orbs.

@Derpquake Not really, I could bring all status bombs to lockdown and watch the Polaris wall grind me to death, or some random mist immune striker come combo me to death.
