T3 graveyards: run or clear?

I really like graveyards in T2. I clear them when possible. I ran my first T3 graveyard just now, with a couple of hard, pipe-hittin' knights in 5*, and I was surprised to see them start running right off the bat. Is it common to run for it in T3?

I loved Graveyards in T2.

In T3, they are pain and death and pain. If for no other reason than that people simply do not coordinate, knock down the Phantoms, and then focus on other enemies.

It's a common issue, made worse by the specific mechanics of Phantoms. Rare are party members that known how to hit an enemy into a corner so it can't run. Or allies that will run to the other side of a Gun Puppy so that it shoots away from the team. Or the team that figures out which ally has the attention of the Trojan, let's that Ally shield, and the other 3 run to the back and wail on it.

These are all pretty common aggro management game tactics. But I rarely see anyone use them. So when you have an enemy as relentless and strong as the Phantom . . .

I'd rather run until I see people better at aggro management.

Most people are too bad to do

Most people are too bad to do graveyards. Often in parties I have to do the whole level myself. It's REALLY not that hard.

One thing I thought I noticed

One thing I thought I noticed is that in T3 the Phantoms stand still while they're charging their Gran Fausts. Is that right? In T2 they definitely move around while charging.

Graveyards are easy to

Graveyards are easy to solo.

In groups? Not so much.

Solo:
I am clearing every corner of this no matter how far I have to backtrack :D Wheee!

Duo:
If I get a phantom on me, go on without me, I'll catch up when I'm finished with em :D (I have an easier time fighting them when they're following me. More predictable.)

Three Members:
Ok this is getting a little scary, the hell with backtracking, if we see the exit we're leaving :O Oh no I just heard the sound, they're back already? :(

Four Members:
OH SWEET MERCIFUL SNIPE THEY NEVER STOP! RUN, FORGET ME JUST RUN!
:O O: :O

Also, can anyone say for sure

Also, can anyone say for sure whether going solo at the very beginning of a graveyard map will cause only one phantom to spawn? I know that if you go solo later, you still get all four in your solo map, or however many you had before.

I always clear them, but I

I always clear them, but I only play with friends that I know can play. If I were in a random party and I actually wanted to do a graveyard in T3, danger room, etc. then I'd just go solo. As Mettius said, most people just can't handle these parts of the game.

I always wondered why people

I always wondered why people ran through T2 graveyards, and I'd always stay behind collecting my loot and killing those pesky phantoms. Then I'd get mad when the other members refuse to backtrack to pick up a diamond. Is it better to just run in T3 then? I'm more than likely going to be grouped with pubbies.

Yes starting a graveyard solo will only spawn one phantom even after other players join in.

No, I mean when you start a graveyard with a group and then go solo immediately after zoning in.

Ah. I believe if you go solo

Ah. I believe if you go solo before the starting party button is activated you should only spawn one Phantom.
