I am very bored.

Monster Group Difficulty, Listed from Easiest to Hardest. Note: This is just me personally, you probably have a different listing. Also, I don't take bosses that drop tokens into account.

1. Beasts: I think everyone will agree with me, beasts are obviously the most easiest monster to face. The charge up time for an attack is very easy to spot and dodge, and (sorry OOO) chromalisks are a joke. These guys flinch really easily and can be dodged just by going to the side. Very easy to take down with blitz or just a toothpick. The dodging that they do is easily outmatched.

2. Fiends: Oh, the almighty fiend, What happened to you? I used to quiver in my shoes trying to face you. Now you flinch with just a single strike from a toothpick, and your dodging is pathetic. A blitz can probably take out three devilites. The overtimers and greavers can be a little overwhelming in a bunch, but an AOE bomb pretty much makes them plushies, although the greavers' haze can give you annoying statuses. Oh yeah, trojans super-easy with shiver and blitz. Shard bombs work well too, or so I'm told.

3. Constructs: The scuttlebots are a joke, extremely effect against them are the brandish lines. Gun puppies are easy to handle, only the rocket one gives me trouble (polaris). Retrodes brandish-like attack can take a leg down, but is easily avoided. Mecha Knights are annoying with their shield, and that 360 attack with bullets and status I absoulutely hate. Mecha knights are move quite fast and only flinch on the 2nd hit of a DA. Lumbers get good ranged attacks with lower cooldown in tier three, but polaris can easily knock them back, and they move too slowly to be a serious threat. Battlepods are not hard to take down either. Main Weapon: Voltedge and Polaris.

4. Slimes: The tier three slimes can pack a good punch and can only be interrupted on the last swing of a sword. The 360 attack of the jellies is quite annoying, as it will always be facing you. I dread the T3 spike attack because it covers quite an area with those 3 spikes. Most, if going solo, however, can be taken down with two swings from a GF. Lichens grow to be quite formidable in T3, and the auto heal from the combining can be annoying. I absolutely hate facing oilers, but my shiver is usually ready. Oh yeah, even though I don't have it, Slimes are easily taken down with dark retribution. Polyps shoot all of its spikes at once, but nothing my polaris can't handle.

5. Undead: All of you FSC farmers are probably really experience with undead, and I've gotten used to their attack pattern, but when I first joined T3, undead gave me a lot of trouble. Zombies are the easiest to face, followed by the Kats. Kats are annoying. Not gonna lie. Their bullets irk me a lot. One thing that impedes me someimes is the totem and Zombies ability to revive (Thank god Kats can't do that). And keeping them out of the area of effect of a totem can be a pain. Howlitzers are the most dangerous turrets, due to its seeking attack. Bombies haunt my nightmares, especially the shocking ones. Those almirian crusaders can easily be taken out by a blitz, but after they are awake, they are pretty formidable.

Finally, the deadnaught, my least favorite monster- basically an evolved trojan. That stupid charge attack that causes curse and the ability to revive zombies and bombies really annoy me. Not to mention that in a party of three and four, at full health, a blitz cannot take them down. My strategy: Freeze and blitz, like the trojans.

6. Gremlin: I know what you're thinking: You have trouble with gremlins, haha, you're such a NOOB. Well, hear me out. Gremlin Menders are my second least favorite monster. Those little guys swarm up to you and trap you. Knockers are a joke, but the difficulty of all of the rest of the gremlins make them my pet peeve monster. You guys probably already know about of of the annoying attacks that they have and their annoying shields and annoying dodge and cloaking and stupid reviving dead gremlins and 360 attacks and ranged fire/bullets and missles that fall from the sky and status and flying stun hammers and GAHHHHHHH!!!

Post your own opinions of the Monsters of Spiral Knights here! (Note: You can talk about the balancing of monsters, but don't take it too far. We don't want flaming OOO in this thread)

:(

I miss scary fiends.

Actually, i would swap Constructs with Gremlins. Turrets + Mechs + Shock = instant ragequit
Gremlins are easy for me because i snipe them with me sentenza.

p.s. oh yea, OOO sucks.

^ Don't blame all of OOO,

^ Don't blame all of OOO, that shows ignorance. Blame the specific people who are responsible for crappy updates. You wouldn't want to put the music producer, graphics producer, or GMs (all of the people who didnt mess up the game to my knowledge) under fire now would you?

Anyways:

Easiest is construct.
Then slimes
Then undead
Then beasts
Then gremlins
Then fiends

I just see them revving up to bite me... and I freeze. The wolver has teeth. The wolver is about to use them... Should I move? What do I do? By this time, I'm breathing hard and having a small panic attack. The big decision is upon me, and I just... I can't do it... I check my email. Still panting in fear. I read a book, and maybe have something to eat. See a movie. The wolver is still there, about to bite me, and I'm still frozen with fear... it bites me, and my heart sinks. It happened again.

Beast - 1
Slime - 1
Undead - 3
Construct - 3.5
Gremlin - 6
Fiend - 6.75

Beast - slow, stupid, and weak to the highest dps weapons.

Slime - fairly slow and very vulnerable to crowd control, since they tend to clump up.

Undead - slow and vulnerable to crowd control like slimes, for the most part. However, Deadnaughts are a gigantic pain, zombie jumps are buggy, zombie breath hitbox is a very fuzzy line, Kat auto target lets them lunge insane, illogical, and immersion-breaking distances, and Scarabs have this really wierd tendency to do damage long after their attack animation finishes. Very buggy family overall.

Construct - Scuttles, Puppies, and most lumbers are slow and easy to dispatch. Mecha knights are a nuisance in large groups because of their shields and bullets, and Silversaps freeze lock you to death if you get hit once. Oh, and those shock battlepods with the goo are annoying to fight too.

Gremlin- knockers and scorchers are easy (except in C42, where they're catalysts for destruction and misery). Menders and demos are only really a problem when in large groups. But Thwackers... :< Barely any telegraphing, long dashes, confusing tendency to slide behind you for no reason and then split you in half with a thwack hammer. Not fun. Unless you bring an Acheron, then they're easy :P

Fiend - I used to have a problem with devilites, but now I can handle them. Not sure if it's the nerf or just me getting better, but idc really :P Greavers are easy too - you can slay infinite numbers of them with two walls, a shield, and a toothpick. No it's the Gorgos that are the problem now. They hover just outside of your range, miss with two attacks, then jump halfway across the screen and bite half your HP away. And there's virtually no way to stop them, apart from just killing them before they get the chance to attack.
