I found out that you'll need steam in order to trade OCH package(for DR ><") so i transfer my sk account to steam account(in order to trade).
But i afraid that..

I seen a lot of thread about steam user unable to log in sk using steam account(some kind of temporarily network outage or there might be a maintenance when there actually not).
Q:To steam user,did you had this error?If so,how did you fix it?

Everytime steam finish update,there always had a network error or something that some players weren't able to log in.
Q:Did you had this problem?
Q:What did you do,everytime after steam maintenance is over(update) to update your steam cilent?

I ask because im afraid that i might had the following problems when steam attempt to update.

Side note:Got steam years ago(found sk there),got the problems that i list above before and it seem like i can't fix them so i uninstall steam(lost my old account T_T due to unable to log in sk using steam account).

Personally I have never

had a problem with my SK account since I migrated it to Steam that simply relogging didn't fix.

Hi there steam user.

If there is a login error, quit out of Spiral Knights (don't quit steam) then log back in. That's what has helped me so far.

I've been using SK on steam for 2+ years now, never had any problems that restarting either SK or Steam didn't fix. Except the part where my steam overlay doesn't work 99.6% of the time :<

If you're not sure if any if those problems will affect you, make an alt account on steam and try playing it for a week or two to see if you run into any problems. Then go ahead and migrate your account if you don't find anything wrong.

Overlay and situations like that...

Are probably due to Steam's updates (I heard this from somewhere else) that steam sometimes screws up the overlay and you have to wait until they fix it.

Im a steam user since 5 years ago, and found spiral knights when they added the "spiral sallet" for TF2 around 2011.

About steam problems i have with spiral? no i dont have so many and today i rarely have troubles with it (not like before)

the common problem:

-steam community its down, if you are already in game you wouldnt have much trouble with it, the problem comes when you try to log in game when steam community its down but hey only take few minutes, not like (OMGWTFBBQ ITS TAKING AGES).

-sometimes when an update comes and you have troubles with your net which can cut the download, well you will have troubles with the steam and will ask you to reinstall steam (well at least that happened to me).

-rarely when steam leak an update (like the one happened before) it can give you troubles with your steam and left you in "off line mode" but nothing than a running again steam can fix

Also there are rarely troubles with steam that can be solved by deleting the archive "clientrgstry.blob" (or whatever its called but its similar) and then run again steam, steam will download only the files needed and will run again.

But maybe those Troubles with steam could be related to your Computer, Operating System and even your internet connection. because those troubles that some forumers have posted before never happened to me

Or.. you can use a steam account without the steam client using the facebook trick.
