I was in a T3 fire deconstruction zone. Just as I was cutting up this demo, he suddenly started leaving big puddles of oil!
I didn't see this on the wiki. Is this a new attack?

I think there were most likely some Gremlin Scorchers around dropping oil before igniting them.
Maybe it was a ghost Oiler?

No, it was a demo for sure! I was only fighting it. (I had killed ALL the scorchers. *evil laugh*) Just as I was cutting him up, he just starting leaving puddles of oil.
Darn it I wish I had thought to take a picture. I only mentioned it because it doesn't say it on the wiki, so I was thinking it might be new. I'll try to cause this to happen again and take a screeny.

T3 demos drop bombs when attacked. I'm asking if that weird thing still did (bombs+oil after every hit) or if the oil replaced the bombs entirely.

It's happened to me too. You guessed it, a Demo and Scorcher were present; the one thing all of these encounters have in common.
They don't seem to drop the oil slicks as a proper attack as it isn't telegraphed; kind of like Oilers when they drop oil slicks randomly. I've never seen Oil Slicks while Scorchers were on their own, so it's definitely the Demo doing it.
Was this in the test server?
