Since I'm not on the test server, I'm not sure if anyone is allowed to answer my question, but...

What are Sprite Harnesses? How do they work? What do they do? Will my thread get locked?

they are equippable items. those harness works like "attributes" for the attack of your pet. this basically its to change the type of damage you want your pet deal for example:

iron harness: Normal damage
gold harness: Piercing damage
Dark harness: Shadow damage
Crystal harness: elemental damage

so basically it just to change the kind of damage that your sprite deals with their attacks.

More so when you realise that damage type matters very little for most of the abilities.

Taeloh
each tier also reduces the

each tier also reduces the cooldown of your sprites by 5%.

so a max tier harness decreases cooldowns by 10%

How can you make them funny?

It's more interesting than it might sound like. You know how shard bombs have so little damage that attacking a neutral target actually halves the damage they deal compared to a weak target? Every single sprite ability is like that.

Because of that, which harness you bring is going to make a huge difference for your efficiency, and basically determines if you're using your sprite for damage or support. In addition, not every sprite can use every harness. Maskeraith's hexing haze, for instance, would be absolutely wonderful against zombies if only he was able to use an elemental harness. Despite his abilities feeling a lot more strong and offensive than even Drakon, he's lacking the damage type to deal with the most common targets found in the game.

What about the invicibility or the poison+extra damage from quills?

Quill damage is typed. It'll not be very powerful without the appopriate harness, but a machine of death with it.

No effect on invisibility though.

@Zeddy

You should test if the harness affects what type of damage the three defensive abilities protect against.

I used Maskeraith with a Normal harness and I took the same damage from Shadow Fire cloaked and uncloaked, but the person I was running with took less damage from Shadow Fire when he had his Elemental Harnessed-Drakon's Fireball Shield ability active.
