I'm pretty sure they would have made a thread by now (As of 3:30 PM EST [-5 hrs, UTC/GMT]) of patch notes if they were planning on updating the game today.

I mean, look at the most recent patch note times (All times are PDT [-8 hrs, UTC/GMT]) on the announcement forums.

The part where he talked to a GM about it is more than likely fake, but the fact that it's either today or next week is pretty much what everyone else is saying too.

(SIGH) Sometimes I wonder why they tell us things at all. They should tell us true dates instead of empty estimates. Or just say,"There will be an update at some point. Have fun."

I was with him in a SL party when one of our party members had internet trouble and d/ced so we called a GM in order to be able to reinvite him. The GM's name was Cronus and after he fixed our problem we talked to him for about 5 minutes about the update. I don't know how some people find it so hard to believe. :/

So apparently they didn't release the update today because of "problems." I wonder what problems they're having? That in and of itself would be good to know.
