Why not have a lottery where players can purchase tickets with a unique number. At the end of each week have a drawing with a grand CE prize. If no one has the ticket #, keep increasing the pot. Just like how the real lotto works now. We could also have 2nd place and 3rd place prizes, such as equips or weapons, if a almost all the numbers match

Terra - I got the impression there would be nothing but a house cut. The players buy tickets with crowns which go to an NPC and vanish forever. The winning players then receive some CE (or another prize) that was generated by an NPC.
The idea of giving out unique costume items to winners really appeals to me. It would be a great crown-sink. I'd be okay with giving out CE this way. I can't think of any reason it would hurt the game or the economy.
If the house gets a cut, this seems like it could be a very efficient sink. To clarify, you buy these tickets with crowns? (cause if it was with ce, well....)
