Well, we're getting pets, and I've been going back and looking at pet threads to see just what it is people like about these cute critters. It seems that quite a few people wanted pets so that they could have a "companion" to "raise", for non-combat purposes. Which brings me to my suggestion, we need more than pets.
I want to be able to commit to a platonic relationship with Kozma and raise knight children. Knight children are born from eggs that you buy from the store. They work slightly like battle sprites, you take minerals and compress them into small containers called "chaos drives"; giving your child different color chaos drives will cause your children to grow differently. Red chrimsonite chaos drives will increase your child's strength, green valestone drives are for speed, purple dark matter drives increase the flight stat, and luminite increases the speed stat. Moonstone is poisonous, do not ever feed it to children. You can also raise their stamina by feeding them fruit; fruit can be round, triangular, or square. Each of these stats affect on performance is determined by a grade the child gets at birth, ranging from E to S. It is possible to create a perfect all S knight by breeding your children with your friends offspring. You can even inbreed your knights. Although there are no negative effects that come from this process, it is commonly frowned upon. However one should be willing to do anything to create the ultimate lifeform.
After a knight reaches a certain age, it will evolve based on the last stat that was increased. If the most recent increases were in strength, it will turn into a strength type. When your child evolves, one of its grades will increase based on what it evolved into. They cannot turn into stamina types, however they can increase their stamina grade by evolving into normal types if the recent changes were balanced. Knights will also become light, dark, or neutral when they evolve based on how they were parented.
These stats will not help knights in gates, however. Knight kids can take place in races and knight karate matches. They are completely autonomous in each mode, however you can cheer them on with the A button. Careful; cheering them lots can make them run faster, however they may run out of breath and slow down for the remainder of the race or match. Races are very straightforward, the knight that makes it to the end wins. Karate is to the death. You can win by knocking your opponent out of the ring instead of killing them, however the loser is always put to death regardless.
Thumbs up if you get the reference.
ok cool.
I think it's about time for my parody thread.
