Yes, I had to make a new thread.

Okay, so let me lay this out. No mist tanks. CE is only purchasable by units of a hundred. How do new players stand a chance? I mean seriously, it is inevitable that CE prices will inflate. How is someone in the rescue camp EVER going to stand a chance of reviving themselves even ONCE if they have to buy 100 CE to do so? I don't care if revives take ONE Crystal Energy. They still have to buy 100 because that is the only unit purchasable. And currently CE is at 8k+ and destined to raise to who knows how high. So how is someone in the rescue camp, or even just starting off in the Haven going to have the will to earn 8k+ crowns? This is all ASSUMING they know how and where to buy it from and basic mechanics of the system. And not to mention HOW LITTLE the early missions make starting off. Even T1 arcade for that matter. I don't care if they can play endlessly now. Playing endlessly means more deaths now.

Yeah, not sure how any one new that dies early on in the game stands a chance of sticking around.

You get a free rev per floor, sparks will appear as a regular loot drop (though we have yet to see how common/rare they are), they will cost the equivalent of 20 energy from the depot (so the player-to-player market will make them relatively cheap), you get them as mission rewards, and it looks like you might get a small amount as a login reward.

I see. In the test server

I see. In the test server they give a fair few as simple mission rewards. Let's hope no one dies past that amount!

Not to mention the crafting orbs have been strongly suggested to be a common drop by three rings when mentioning them in the latest announcement, making it so, in combination with free elevators, almost noone uses energy for anything BUT reving. You may think this bad for people who rev... but the combination of the two factors shown before will drop the ce prices pretty massively; meaning that if they do die, they can actually afford it. Unless, of course, we have the 6 year old brigade running the CE market. In which case they probably will grow their prices as it becomes worthless. As a result, we either have thinking people who will lower the costs; or uneducated people who don't realize that raising the prices on their worthless goods only makes them LESS invested in who will kill the market altogether, at which point the staff steps in... but the odds are (i probably put too much faith forward in people) that possibility #1 occurs, meaning even if they need to pay for CE, they will be able to. I foresee prices as low as 2k
