Tips on Magnus-line gunning in LD?

I recently started using magnus in LD. I know the gun is rather awkward due to its one shot clip and speed, but I was wondering if some fellow players could give me some advice on how to effectively use the gun.

I usually couple it with a storm driver.

don't know, but

Sorry, this is way out of my expertise, but just to clarify: Magnus has a two-shot clip, but you're shooting only once, to avoid reloading?

Woops, yeah. I meant 2 shot clip, but I only shoot once and then switch.

  1. Go Recon
  2. Perch yourself south of a control point.
  3. Charge that motherplucker.
  4. If the charge inflicts stun, follow up with some heavy damage, maybe even a second charge.
  5. Otherwise, escape and go bother someone else.

My friend used it in t2 very

My friend used it in t2 very effectively
He used a super blaster with it and he would just gun switch
His average was 5k a game

But that was t2
