Just for the sake of knowing whether it's a smart idea to wait it out in Haven or go on another run, when your Sprite has that tiniest bit of Heat left before it can level.
Make a timer for Battle Sprites' appetite meter
Silly idea, play the game for the sake of playing the game, not because a timer says so.
It sounds meaningless and useless, but as a player who likes to optimize how they do things, it has its uses.
Let's say I'm at the D13 terminal for the IMF gate. In IMF, you're not given arsenal stations besides the first level, so I wouldn't be able to manage my Sprite's material screen until I finish. Knowing if I'm 15 minutes from getting another bar or 40 seconds could help me make a decision to play normal levels or wait in Haven rather than hitting full appetite halfway through the run without being able to do anything.
Yes, it's just 1/2 bars that I'd miss. Yes, it's silly. I just like to be efficient and I get annoyed whenever I plan something wrong.
Rather than a timer, the apetite bar itself should grow in real time instead of only showing full sections.
Why don't you just feed your sprite full and then go on a run? IMF heat doesn't fill more than 4 bars of appetite anyway.
Also, elevators are free now. At any given point you can return to haven, stuff your sprite's face, and then rejoin your group.
Anyways, to give you some info to go on to help your planning: Appetite seems to fill at the same rate as mist energy. That's 100 appetites over 22 hours, roughly 5 an hour.
I know it's moronic to stress over something so pointless like this. I just like KNOWING things, not having vague ideas. Kinda like how the stat bars work. I'd love to have flat numbers, but it's not like they'd really do anything.
A real-time appetite bar would be great.
Elevators ARE free... but if I leave and rejoin, I lose all of my vials/capsules and my vitapod.
I thought as much about the appetite/mist stuff, good to have confirmation.
they didn't put a timer on mist, they won't put a timer on pets.
but +1.
