Every level I complete pushes my Grey Owlite shield to max of level 9, icon turns orange, etc. After every level I go to the forge, the shield shows up, says I have 5 Radiant fire crystals and only need one. However, the forge button is greyed out and says Insufficient crystals. Also, the next level I play, the shield has lost the heat that it got before and once again maxes its heat at the end of the level. It's like groundhog day in Spiral Knights form, except there's no girl to win over and you don't get to learn to play the piano.

Same issue!
I have a lvl 6 Valkyrie Helm with max heat. I have 12 Radiant Fire Crystals, and just as with Wingrave, I cannot "apply" the fire crystals.
This is now also happening with all my others items :S
One thing to note is that I play Spiral Knights using the standalone client that I downloaded. Wonder if that has something to do with this?
Also dealing with this problem; not sure if I'm missing a step here or what but level 9 acheron at full heat, shows up ready for the forge, can't do anything with it. Got 10 crystals usable, only need one. Every additional level played through replays the "full heat" animation for the weapon's heat bar filling up, visual bug probably, but with it showing up as the only thing forgeable, it's a bit concerning.
