Arkus should get a pet doe, just because he's Arkus. Yeah, Arkus don't NEED no pet, but I mean, he also don't need no squadmates either so ain't no reason Arkus can't get a pet yo.
Why would a giant corrupted horse statue demon knight want a pet deer?
Except that neither Vana, Snarby, or the Collector are knights that have been corrupted. I think it would be interesting.

I also suggest we give pets to Jelly King and Rawrmulus Twins. He left them out so they must be okay to pet it up.
But no seriously, based off the lore they created about Arkus as well as the new battle sprites, it would be interesting to see, if only because somewhere in the tooltips it basically says the pets follow the orders of the knight it's paired to. It doesn't say that they have to be "good" knights or good orders, thus making it a valid suggestion despite the comical wording. Besides, it opens up the concept of new battle sprites we've yet to "discover" since pets are introduced at rank 2-1, whereas Arkus doesn't even make an appearance until 9-1. Continuity-wise, it would fit rather well; in fact, the only thing you would need to do is ret-con some of the animations to include a battle sprite.
It also gives them an excuse to design a new battle sprite altogether, which they seem to want to do based off of the release notes they've given us over the past few weeks.

Well, he does summon greavers during the fight. Those are his 'sprites'.
The only boss without minions is snarbolax.
Arkus disappeared before the Battle Sprite cache was found, therefore he doesn't get a Battle Sprite.
