I chose this one for its support abilities so I can play a more defensive/tank/healer role in groups, and I thought people were gonna either go Drakon or Maskeraith as the overwhelming majority choices because most people just want to kill things as fast as they can, but I'm shocked to see how many players are running around with little cats over their shoulders. Is there a reason Seraphynx is so popular right away?

Also, where can I get Divine Motes without having to pay the ridiculously inflated prices in the AH?

I can't buy the Luminite I

I can't buy the Luminite I need from the AH, and I don't want to pay a ridiculous 1500cr per mote (should be more like 200-300 at most). So I guess I'm just gonna have to mass-farm Luminite.

people feed 5* materials to

people feed 5* materials to heat the things and only use the favored ones to lvl them up
dont need to mass farm minerals, just (i think) 5 per sprite lvl will do

On a pefect market, you would craft the other motes and trade them for the ones you need with another player that's in the same predicament as you.

You have free elevators,just play and always pick the Luminite even if you see bigger crystals than it. Also save the motes! Only give them to the sprite when it's ready to level up. When you just need to feed it use materials,better mats fills the heat meter faster.

Seraphynx user here

Honestly, the primary reason I picked Seraphynx was because it's ridiculously adorable. Told myself I'd get it regardless of how good it was, and I'm sticking by that decision.

The other possible reason is that it's presented as the most team-oriented sprite, so some players might want it to feel like they're really contributing to a party.

It's somewhat underwhelming gameplay-wise and the demo doesn't really make it stand out in any particular way, so I'd wager it's not because of the bit of gameplay you get with it.

I chose Seraphynx because Heart Attack and Angelic Aura fits in well with my policy to be helpful in a group by providing team support... just need to unlock Angelic Aura now.

Plus it's bleedin' adorable.

People are going to say WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! after reading this, but I find Drakon a lot more adorable and aesthetically pleasing than Seraphynx, but I chose Seraphynx because I wasn't focusing on aesthetics.

I wouldn't consider Maskeraith cute or hideous, but the sounds he makes are adorable.

I saw a lot of Maskeraith users.

This Vanguard said that "Seraphynx is the best, Maskeraith is the second best, and Drakon is COMPLETELY, 100% USELESS. He has NO USES AT ALL.".

The reason why he said that is because Drakon doesn't buff or debuff anything.

this is just something

people have been using sepharinxs there really cute and they want healing abilites instead of attack types. drakons however are useless against vanna but usefull on deconstroctor stages like roalumarous twins. the maskeriath however is a poison type and invistibility if you want a pet that can shoot poison and make you invisible get the maskeriath. everyone preffers sepharinxes better than any cuz theyre just adorable

Seriously though, OP, I didn't like how the Seraphinx played or felt, so I went Maskerwraith. To be honest, I haven't seen that many Sera users - it's been a fair mix of the three, though I might not have noticed the favourtism because I can't be bothered to watch what other people have.
