I guess it's becuase I got some rarities in mail, because I was vanguard. And now, all that stack onto them are bound too. So I have like 500 rarities bound to me, which I obviously don't want to use. It's a pretty big issue, as I see, every veteran have this problem now.

Because people want to sell

Because people want to sell them?

Given everything else OOO has

Given everything else OOO has done to stifle player trading I'd have to guess this is intentional and won't change.

But that doesn't make any

But that doesn't make any sense. There are already rarities up in the AH, how did people put them up there then?

I thought the same thing, OP. I guess people are buying them with energy, then selling them on the market?

Then again, I have giant stacks of rarities that I will probably never use, so I can't actually test whether the ones in the clockworks will be unbound if you have zero in your inventory.

They want you to use the system they've put in place to craft the gear for you to use. The game is about the experience of crafting and using unique weapons. The game is not about crafting and selling the same weapon over and over again. The game is not about crafting one set of weapons and using nothing but that. The game is not about grinding and rolling low UVs onto one item over and over again.

No, they won't come unbound

No, they won't come unbound even if you have 0 of something, tested that too. The only time they come unbound is when you buy them with energy from the supply depot.

What Fehzor said. They want

What Fehzor said. They want you to use this stuff to make your own equipment so you can really appreciate what it feels like to create your own stuff, and more importantly, EARN the right to use it.

Not sure, why are you saying that. I mean, I agree with that, but doesn't really have to do too much with not being able to trade rarities. By selling, for example, orbs of alchemy, we would help other people experience crafting, as you just said. I don't have any problem with not being able to infinitely craft weapons. I have almost every weapon anyway.

Let's be honest, if they came

Let's be honest, if they came unbound in the Clockworks or through your mail, there would be so many on the AH that they'd be almost worthless. Having them bound helps control the prices.
