Thanks for completely ruining the trading market, Three Rings. All you can trade now are mats and items that don't have a prerequisite for crafting (1*, 2*, a few 3* like gunslinger, and a few 4* like tortoise). What a complete and utter joke. This will kill the game. Congrats.

Not yet! All the unbound 4*

Not yet! All the unbound 4* and 5* items just increased in value!

I feel bad for njthug the most. I think he had like 6-7 5* items under commission. The people crafting those items really got screwed as well since they're likely on the 3-5* phase and they were basing it off his UV items. I'm assuming he is livid right now since he basically lost a ton of UVs in this update..

It doesn't even make sense

It doesn't even make sense from a business perspective. Think about it... one of the biggest reasons people buy mass CE is to trade for expensive 5* items, so how does this even make sense from the financial side of things? Are you serious?

Thankfully I only have like

Thankfully I only have like one 5* item floating on me. I feel bad for those who have several just sitting there which are now worthless (assuming you don't need to use them).

You couldn't have given us a 24-hour lead time on this so we could trade our stuff? If you cared about your customers at all, you would have given us a heads up about this.

Turrrrrible. Just turrrrible.

@deckard #3 Most of my 5*

@deckard #3
Most of my 5* premades were sold to people who purchased CE and didn't have the time to level their own items, find recipes, etc. Now they can find recipes fine but they still don't have the time commitment to level their 3 and 4 star items up. Now there is no need for them to buy CE with real money since they will have to run the dungeons anyway and even with the high exchange rate, JK still pays for itself which means no need for extra CE.

Sorry you are having a bad day.

Deckard, I am resisting the strong temptation to make a personal attack on you and hassle you. Heh!

Dedicated and resilient players will roll with the punches and make the best of this 'new world'. I play this game largely to run with my friends and family and just enjoy the gameplay.

I hope you will find some enjoyment despite the new changes, and if not, hopefully you will stop playing so I don't have to listen to you whine. Good luck!

Hey ezrawalk, why don't you

Hey ezrawalk, why don't you go read the thread in General Discussion where 99% of the player base agrees with me before spouting that BS? Or how about login to the game and read trade chat for about 30 seconds. Thanks.

Business

They probably expect people to buy mass CE to craft items now, probably for UVs or even just some 5* items will force you to buy some CE from them.

:(

Three rings has done a stupid thing. They receive revenue because people use money to buy CE for getting the gear that they want. By Implementing this patch, the only way to gear up is by running JK or FSC for heat to lvl themselves. (in addition to procuring mats and recipes)

I enjoyed doing commissions for people. It's one of the things that kept me staying. Now I surmise that unless three rings does something about this, I reckon a good number of people will leave. There's only so many things to do in SK. Only consolation is that the 2 grey owls that zale has are now double or triple in value :)

Friendship lasts forever; unfortunately SK won't. ( cries pitifully)

Awesome. I was actually

Awesome.

I was actually talking about that aspect of the game with a friend earlier today. We don't like the fact that anyone can just go on and get the best stuff that other people work towards without effort. It just discourages people from playing if they feel people can just buy the best stuff. Removes any goal to work towards.

Kudos ezrawalk

Kudos ezrawalk for the diplomacy and restraint. This guy has something negative to say about everything. I don't necessarily agree with all the changes but QQ zomg.

Hm...

I followed your recommendation and read about as much of the feedback thread as I could stomach. Reading the hyper-emotional ranting was not incredibly informative, but Paska did a point by point response which pretty much summed up my feelings on the subject. I guess, if nothing else, the diuretic rage is an indicator of how passionate people are about the game.

I'll definitely admit that the energy hike for crafting has eliminated any desire to do anything with my alts except crafting for UVs. And I miss making 'free' 3* gear. Being patient doesn't have as much mileage now.

I got screwed by the gear binding thing too, but it mostly annoys me that I can't make 3* and 4* gear for my casual friends. Adds of layer of complexity, teaching them how to pick a gear path and buy the appropriate recipes.

In any case, I mean it when I say good luck.
