I have a Drakon, and I must feed it Power Dust, which requires Crimsonite to craft. Whenever I come across Crimsonite, it always yields a Small Crimsonite Deposit, but the other minerals come in all sizes EXCEPT small. Is the game actively doing this based on what my Sprite needs, or does luck just hate me?

happens in every game I play
In minecraft, I look for coal, it gives me iron. When I want iron, it gives me coal.
In TF2, I want an Atomizer, it gives me everything but. and when I finally get it, I had to get it 3 times in a row -_-
In RotMG, When I play necro, I get T10s for everything but.

My plan
Get Yellow or Purple rock. Craft them into dust, then do a 1:1 trade for a power one. 100 percent win win.

What I do to get people to
What I do to get people to pick up my favourite mineral, is pick up the largest mineral that isn't my favourite mineral, or pick up the smallest mineral that is my favourite mineral. That way if my favourite mineral is size 2 or larger, someone else will pick it up and I'll receive both the small and the large one.
