I've decided to write up a bunch of indepth reports on various gameplay mechanics and events that I've studied, I'd like to get some feedback on it.

My study on Last Stand, aka "Sonic Mode".

I'd like to know if anyone's experienced any events like being one-shotted in various situations, and if you had the details on how much maximum health you had at the time, that'd be awesome. I plan on going through the clockworks with varying amounts of health to test each enemy out, but any time you can save me would be very much appreciated.

Upcoming reports include a full run-down of how to use a Troika, guides to using the "lesser-used" shields to their maximum potential, and maybe even [REMOOVD MENSHUN OF TOP SEEKRET PROJEX]

I think if you were in the middle of an action that removes invincibility frames, such as charging, last stand does not activate.
EDIT: Just read your post for reals. Zombie Breath does not do any damage, only the shock and fire does- and that's from the status, not the zomgie.

P.S: Darn it, I had an idea for a Spiral Knights Science series a month ago.
I never got round to editing that video.

That's an interesting point, I shall look into that.

Zombie Breath does not do any damage, only the shock and fire does- and that's from the status, not the zomgie.

Ah yep, now that you mention it, stun breath and freeze breath don't deal any impact damage, thanks.
My main internet source has been down for a bit so I'm unable to play Spiral Knights, so I'm just writing up essays on random stuff that I've learnt while I wait.

P.S: Darn it, I had an idea for a Spiral Knights Science series a month ago.

Uh, Spiral Knights Science is just the topic. The actual name of my series is "Hex's Lab", and it's not really official, it's just "hey I found something interesting, here's a catchy title to go with it"

I like detailed studies like this. And I certainly don't mind guides on how to use equipment. Go for it.

One piece of advice, though: You may have to choose between sinking all of your time into one guide and making it really good, versus sinking your time into several guides that are all okay but not great. In my opinion, one good guide is more valuable to the community than several mediocre ones.

Hello Hexy-wexy :) Well...I do remember being 1 shotted from 8 pips of health to um...no pips...By one of them zombies once...or was I at 6 pips? I'm not quite sure...me and my horrible memory...I'll submit my "observations" after I do a few runs...I guess :P
