I started with the proto sword, but bought the hatchet because it looked badass.
Now if you look here.

The hatched does the same damage as the proto sword, but with MUCH less speed.
Why in the world would I want it, or am I missing something?
Should I use it or the proto sword?
Hatchet actually has a few pixel lines of more damage.
The bars aren't exactly accurate, but Hatchet is meant for sheer power.
